Never answer emotional, use corporate language only for anything public. Maybe think about a company formation

If you have a good product theres nothing to fear, improve quality in every aspect - always act professional, focus to improve the product and communicate it to the customers on the site / social media and news outlets.

What you maybe need is a branding professional - all focus should be on the brand and improvement of this.

A good community manager will know how to respond to trolls: be respectful, ignore trolling, provide real information back. If you respond to trolls in a pleasant manner then they lose their power, and outside observers can see what is really going on. You don't need an army, you don't need to "fight", you need to manage the community.

Not really a bright idea because if you do fight or make fire-by-fire then it would just create more tense. The rightful thing to do is to focus your friends product rather than on minding how to fight other competition because people or investors would always look up on the best idea or project no matter how many similar ideas or platform is already existing. If your friends projects is more appealing or worth investing then people would invest naturally.

jes as i said, plus in time of decentral financial market, people will buy everything that is beeing offered with questionable valuable money.

jes this is an ordinary information war, its old as human history its not cheap however what is the particular case more exact?

i also have my information war, as a product developer, but not because of competitiors more because of simply and plain idiots or fanatics
