Ehereum is the best, as it is the only currency that have potential o beat BTC. Tron is at position 10 in coinmarketcap. It needs minimum 3-5 years to cross eth of even XRP. Keep in mind that after BTC, ETH is the currency which is widely used on different exchanges to change any crypto currency. You can invest for small profit.
For the long term, actually these two coins are equally potential, but eth seems to be still the second best coin even though currently the second best coin predicate has been sheared, but sure in the near future it can be sure Eth's price will return to normal.
Tron is doing good and trying to build up its demand in the market. Personally, still, I prefer ethereum and consider it as the best altcoin whatever the price is it doesn't matter because it will come back soon. So I think to buy Eth and hold it for the real-time to sell at a decent price.

Tron is a good project and they becoming popular due to their dapp and blockchain but still needed a lot of effort to beat up eth in the game.
The market is down generally and tron was one of the coins invested in this January but it is also in loses. Tron only using ethereum to compare their power and to add popularity thay TRX is more powerful and trusted against ethereum. It is true that tron already proven its existence but the difference between these two was very obvious and ethereum already won the battle in all aspects. Unfortubately, ETH losses the number 2 spot which may decrease their credibility.

I think tron ceo is very confident about their platform but they need to remember how eth becomes part of their project. At first their trx is also an erc20 token which relying on the eth network, so how come they can say its only part of a hyip? Just because they have now their own they can brag bigger thoughts and negative stuff on eth. Silly, ceo!

Tron will dominate Ether and others. Give it time. Mass adoption of Tron is coming.
I see TRON trying to gain traction pretty quickly. Either way the battle will be who can solve scalability. Another project to consider is MOAC for building dapps. I personally think the future lies in customizable, multi-layer blockchains. Just some food for thought.
