Finally got it compiled.... it was really a pain in the ass.

How did you solve it? Running into the same problem here...

Agreed, OP?

I used the Electrum-release repo . This one is for dash but you can change it to work with Bitcoin (or any other altcoin), I tried almost all the methods out there and this is the only one that worked for me.

Finally got it compiled.... it was really a pain in the ass.

why you compiled this for window when we can download already compiled wallet from website?

Self compiling does not require trust if you can read the code.

I am having troubles compiling Electrum fork for windows, the wine build script finish building and generate binaries that does nothing when clicked on !!! While building I see allot of "fixme:msvcrt" which I don't know how to interpret, I tried changing the msvcm/msvcp90.dll to native then builtin without any luck.




I also tried the electrum-winbuild which also fails, I tried building natively on windows but pyinstaller 2.1 can't find the dlls (whic btw exists), pyinstaller 3.0 solve that but it can't find the PyQt hooks !!







BTW: it works great on Linux.
