Whats up guys,
Newbie to the crypto world. I just received my L3+ and power supply. I did purchase the combo from eBay (I know...but it's the fastest way). The problem I'm having is the miner won't turn on, the fans won't turn on, and no lights turn on.
The power supply fan DOES turn on. I've checked the connections over and over, still nothing. The power supply is :
ALPHA-MINER-PSU-1600W
AC INP. 180-240V 50HZ 20A
DC OUT +12V 10X6PIN
RATED POWER 1600W.
Now I'm not much of an electrician, but I'm pretty sure this is a 240v PSU. The cord it came with fits in my 120v outlet. I assumed that I would get at least some sort of power to the miner. Now before I spend more money on a different power supply or getting a step up transformer. Is there an easy way to conclude that the miner is shot or is it truly a power supply issue.
