Sorry if the title was confusing to anyone, but indeed every person that buys a ticket is given an Ethereum wallet, which to me is a very interesting form of adoption for non crypto minded people!

Perhaps a better explanation can be found here:

Understood nothing. One is written in the title, and another is in the description. Can you reveal the essence of the topic in more detail?

Wow, I'm also at lost something like a title bait, I was expecting some sort of study or a survey that will reveal the number of people holding eth wallet and how did they found out, but I am introduced to something that is way out of my comprehension.

i do not think that this is a misleading title ,

Over 100.000 people have Ethereum wallets

Over 200.000 tickets have been sold on the protocol to date, with the million ticket mark expected to be hit later this year.

all users who buy tickets online are indeed using an ethereumwallet without even knowing

Amsterdam based GUTS Tickets is quickly bringing mass adoption to blockchain and crypto. GUTS uses blockchain technology to create a transparent ticketing ecosystem, where disgraceful secondary market prices and ticket fraud are impossible.

Using GUTS Tickets has lead Holland's biggest comedian to publicly declare a victory over the scalpers that had been plaguing him and his fans:

GUTS Tickets sells their tickets through the Ethereum based GET Protocol ($GET), which provides digitally self-aware ‘smart tickets’. The ownership- and state changes of these tickets are registered on the Ethereum blockchain, causing every attendant of one of the many number of shows ticketed by GUTS to have their own Ethereum wallet. (Without knowing this.)

The team behind GET Protocol and GUTS believe strongly that the quickest way to mass adoption is to utilize the key benefits of blockchain (transparency and accountability) and integrating this in a way that doesn't interfere with people's current ways of behavior or expectations. Over 200.000 tickets have been sold on the protocol to date, with the million ticket mark expected to be hit later this year.

This protocol is fueled by the GET token. In short, every ticket sold requires GET to be bought back from the open market by the Event Organizer.

I think that's normal. Etherum wallet is very simple and free to buy. Moreover, there are many cheap tokens attached to the Ethereum wallet. It's enough to get an Ethereum wallet to keep them.

I think this is the biggest mistake of EOS. If we could get an EOS wallet as easily as we could get an ETH wallet, EOS could be more popular now.

I think incorporating the blockchain technology into the ticketing business is a welcome development to event organisation business,it's going to increase transparency and save cost. Thanks for the information
That's not an information but that's how OP was creating a shilling thread through create a misleading title to attract the readers to pay attention to this one. you can see that there was no correlation between tittle and the content.
