Not really a surprise.   Democracy failed us - our politicians were supposed to be honest.

What would it take to bring down a president?   In the few terms we have left, there won't be another leader as corrupt as Trump.

Obviously communism is the better system in the current state of the world (how long would it take the US to build a 1,000 bed hospital?).  I'd like to say China will rule the world in a few decades, but they are fully dependent on this planet to support them, just like Americans, who happen to use dozens of times more resources than other continents.  :/

Now that the impeachment process is over what is next?

I think all efforts will be on campaigning. Hopefully not by politicizing destructive events.

one vote  on article two was on party lines  53-47 to acquit.

other vote on article one  had 1 republican vote against him that would be Mit Romney of Utah

52-48 to acquit
