That is the difference from a complete scam where you can only lose your invested money instantly. Maybe a scammer can impersonate but it's natural for a meme coin to carry the name of a popular brand or personality. That is why they are being called as a meme.

Not all are appealing of course but some of them are only annoying although those who are serious on earning a profit out of them won't even care about that fact. Marketing is important so all sorts of it are going to be ventured by them as long as they have a budget.

What you think is right, this is likely a big scam. Usually, scammers will use known personalities and make a project under that name because it was attractive and appealing to the public. They'll hype the project, keep promoting it, and sometimes they use social media influencers to spread the information. And this Trump Coin is not far from being one of them, in fact, if we really have to think deeply, Trump will never do this but unfortunately, scammers do it and ruin the reputation of other personalities.

This currency is not an official coin announced by Trump. I believe that this currency is just a scam because they only claim that they have their own initiative and have the support of some big investors. Another attempt to cash in on a famous name that has nothing to do with Trump himself? Coins like this will always be in potential fraud status. Trump, as far as I know, only launches NFT collections, all other crypto projects have nothing to do with him, and therefore are created to speculate on a famous personality, nothing more.

First. This ain't Donald Trump's creation. Second, I doubt it will also come from his team. Third, this might be just one of the scam attempts of a Trump fan who knows his way in the crypto industry. Finally, the used name smells fishy and just wants to fish the Trump supporters to invest in it.

This coin is not far from getting into a shitcoin. I would say that developers are really made fun of for creating coins that have no intrinsic value.
