and if you are for freedom vote for Trump.

Trump is trying to end democracy and create a fascist country.   Why do you believe you would have more freedom under a dictator?

He said he will be a dictator only on day one, though.  Wink

Seriously though, one of the things I still do not understand about people who support Trump as the Republican nominee is how he can call people who participated in the January 6th riots as "hostages". I thought the Republican party was supposed to be the party of law and order.
I could give it a pass if those rioters were being held without trial indefinitely, but they have actually going through due process and some of them are already convicted criminals because of the federal crimes they committed that day.
Is that the behavior people is supposed to expect from the party of law and order? To cheer on convicted criminals in a court of law in the United States?

All this happening while many members of the Senate and the house of representatives seems to be in support of Russia, a country where one is tortured for confessions, which can be accepted as "evidence" for a crime.
It is so ironic...

Crypto is Trump's weapon against Biden. I think this is the first time crypto has been an issue in a presidential election. I remember that in the past Trump often mocked the existence of crypto, he once stated that the value of crypto was based on "air" aka it was unclear and once said bitcoin was like a "scam". But now he accepts crypto, even accepting donations or campaign funding via crypto.

So Trump just reversed himself.

Why are you so sure he won't reverse himself again once he's elected?

Why do you trust a convicted criminal like Trump on faith like that?

Bitcoin went up 500% under Biden.

A republican does not argue with facts!   Corrupt Donny wants to say he promotes bitcoin, he will get some gullible votes, but most honest people in bitcoin will remember inconsistencies in his words.

Seem a complete 180 turn for Trump which makes him a pro-crypto candidate apart from RFK. Now this election is going to be more of a pro vs anti-crypto and if you are for freedom vote for Trump.

This is certainly about the law about banks permitted to store or custody of client's cryptocurrency which Biden announced to veto. I doubt he would veto actually which I guess Trump took advantage of.  I think Biden will really b e forced to veto.

Trump just made it very clear that he is the pro cryptocurrency candidate in this upcoming Presidential race. Not only has he stated that if you are into crypto you should vote for him while mocking Joe Biden as not knowing what it is, but he also stated that he is officially accepting cryptocurrency donations for his campaign.
Any crypto users that will see this campaign promise from Trump, he or she will surely vote for him to become a president because it will improve many people business and other things in the country.

I know that many politicians use to promise masses and fail when they resume office, I don't think Trump will fail crypto users when he succeed to achieve victory in the election because he has show some example by accepting crypto donation for his campaign for people to know that, he will make it work in the future.

Since Joe Biden has failed some of his campaign promise he made during the last election, it will be difficult for him to win this second tenure election because many people will use this election to punish him for failing to fulfill his promises.

I'm not sure if this is the strategy that Trump built for the election, but it does make crypto lovers happy and he will definitely gain a large number of supporters with those statements.

But perhaps the scope of this issue is more political than just a support/oppose crypto issue, though in recent days I've seen some memes starting to benefit from the US presidential election event. But always remember one thing that they always put national interests first, so at some point they will make statements to receive support from those who do not like crypto.

The Trump administration will crack down on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency when they figure out it can be used to pay for illegal abortions. There are millions of abortions happening in the USA every year, and Trump's policy document makes it clear he will work to stop every single one of them, because they believe it's murder.

Stopping all of the abortions in the USA will rival the old "War On Drugs" in scope. They are going to need to build a great big new government presence in order to do it. That will include taking out cryptocurrency.

That's just one example of how Trump could utterly annihilate Bitcoin and the crypto market in general, especially the aspect of the market that stop's Trump's government from enforcing all of the new laws they want to pass controlling people's behavior, e.g. cryptocurrency.

Thay is nice move and I believed Americans those who are in cryptocurrency will vote massively for him so that things will work for them smoothly. Cryptocurrency or Bitcoin is not a bad thing but our leaders are looking at it from the opposite side of the coin. If a leader accept Bitcoin then the cryptocurrency community in the country will not have problem and I believed all those Bitcoin mixers owners will support Trump for the forthcoming election. Let Americans citizens vote a credible leader in this election.

He's just a studious and psychological empathetic politician who knows the logics of ridiculing his oppositions to emerge his political goal successfully. He's a wise man dancing to the tunes of the masses by so doing 😃.
Indeed and interestingly, he's penetrating the mind of the people. We should've already known the phenomenon of bitcoin around the globe and the rate of bitcoin interests and adoptions in the United States has become influential to infinity.

Well. I admit that may be an intelligent move coming for Trump and his campaign. Though, next time you should like to share news like this one, it would be constructive if you shared some sources for us to verify and check by ourselves to what extent Trump is willing to be pro cryptocurrency.

Even if Trump does not actually mean to be pro Bitcoin and pro cryptocurrency, he has been intelligent enough to recognize there is a thriving community within the United States which is not happy with the taxes and the walls the Biden administration is trying to set in place to discourage the adoption and mining of Bitcoin in a broad way.

There is a very real possibility all he is going to do if he manages to win the presidency is just to cut taxes on Bitcoin earnings and trash the plan Biden had to set a very high taxation on miners, but nothing significant beyond that, after all, he seems to be the kind of person and politician who is more into the traditional FIAT and centralized system he grew up with... Time will tell, I guess.

but even though he is pro for cryptocurrency, that doesn't mean that when he becomes president he will legalize cryptocurrency as legal tender in his country. he's just using it as campaign material, because biden rejected it, so he's trying to pull that and get pro-crypto people to vote for him on the grounds that he's pro against it. and in fact i think that cryptocurrency regulations will be increasingly tightened in the us, with him or without him in the future.

Trump is a populist who will say whatever to get elected. Javier Millei is another politician many bitcoiners were excited about but since taking office regulation has only increased, implementing recommendations from FATF, one of the most anti-crypto organizations in existence.

Trump may say he is fine with cryptocurrency, but it likely comes with some serious caveats such as increased compliance measures which make it harder to use Bitcoin in a peer-to-peer and permissionless way as it was intended.

I new it will get to that stage for those interested in the American presidency to use cryptocurrency as an agenda for campaigning and of course it has to be for the progressive purpose because the adoption rate is increasing. I think trump will use that as a campaign tool as he is more into the digital investment and business

What we can expect under Trump is that he outlaws Bitcoin so his own coins will go up in value.

And you think that will be possible? That he would have peace with the congress and American society? Moreover, bitcoin is already decentralized with a fast growing population, so that is not visible that trump would think of that when he is a crypto investor.

A US president could absolutely crush Bitcoin if he felt like it. For starters, all he would have to do is have his agencies threaten Bitcoin, and that would send the price spiraling downward. Imagine if Trump said TrumpCoin has some special trait that no other currencies have. It would basically shift investors from Bitcoin to TrumpCoin, making him a trillionaire. And there are a million more things after that.

Having an actual criminal in the Whitehouse is an extremely unstable thing. Very bad for business. Very bad for Bitcoin.

Bitcoin went up 500% under Biden.

Trump promises to upend the US government, creating chaos and uncertainly in the markets. He runs his own company like his own personal pyramid scheme, which is already under investigation by the SEC.

What we can expect under Trump is that he outlaws Bitcoin so his own coins will go up in value.

If you want Bitcoin to go up another 500%, vote for Biden, the Democrats, and stable markets.

But I like Trump's adoption of this sports currency, because he likes cryptocurrency, and someone used it to vote for him. However, he wants to use the political strategies properly, due to which he is preparing enough to become the president by adopting such strategies. But I think cryptocurrency lovers will definitely accept Trump's decision.

We could have appreciated if a link source is being attached to this, not because am doubting, but i would have love to read further on the gist concerning the two of them, concerning Trump, i dot know if this will actually move the people or the crypto community because i want to believe he is not taking that as an avenue of soliciting for funds to use for his campaign and the likes, i hope he could actually be that candidate that will come out straight and bold in adopting bitcoin in cryptocurrency as a legal tender in US, which i know such time will soon come either with Trump or any other pro bitcoin candidate in the future.

That's really smart of him and expected move as he is a businessman first he has used his brian very well and to be honest people of fed up of Joe Biden who is a wolf pretended to be a sheep before previous election and all he has brought is nothing more than more wars and destruction to other nations. I am sure crypto enthusiasts will vote for Trump and he will be able to bankroll huge funds through mixer for his campaigns.

That's kinda smart of Trump... accepting donations in Bitcoin. Suppose my company wants to donate a $million to Trump's campaign. With the Bitcoin mixers in Tor, somebody could use a bunch of different Bitcoin addresses, and donate tons more than admissible by law. Nobody could track him.

Cool
