Why did you blame the President for the dip? It was actually caused by couple of forum posts especially on Bitcoin, last week. Atleast that's about the time the price started going down. And it can still be moved up again with the formulae below:
*The quality of Bitcoin/crypto related contributions + how influential is the contributor = the direction of the price of Bitcoin/crypto

People with great and true influence are not found at the top of the pyramid where the elites dwell. They usually dwell with people at the lower level of society. That is where you'll likely find them. Unfortunately, people at the bottom usually look up for such influence, and would hardly believe those with them are capable of great influence

It's only a few weeks after he has been United State's president, and how can you talk about his impeachment? Cheesy Cheesy He will not be getting impeachment just because he started the trade war.

However, i quite agree with you Trump's trade war has been triggering the market to go red. It's also pushing market to face the biggest liquidation in the history of crypto, which more than 2 billion.

This can give you a lesson to always be careful with market. You seem baffled caused by your porto might be down, i can understand it, so always sell it when it was at the top.

I may be a little out of touch with current events in US politics and Trump's latest decisions, but how do you think he is responsible for the altcoin market crash?  What did he do?

OP is the one out of touch in US politics and everything that's happening in the market; if what he means is the Trump coin, its not Trump's fault if they invest in his meme. We all know that meme is a high-risk investment, and every investor should invest at his own risk.
The fact is, Trump did well having positive feedback on Bitcoin, and by doing so, it helped the market to move up, where Bitcoin finally reached a 6-digit mark.
If you lose investing in memes, then don't direct your fault to others

Congratulations to the criminal mastermind, Trump, for rallying the alt-coin market into dumpster fire that he just ignited.

A president who was supposed to be a friend of crypto community turned out to be the worst nightmare for us, and this is just the beginning. A year that was supposed to be a year where most of us can make some money (forbid us small guys make a dough) just got sucked into this vortex of nightmare because of bunch of radical right wingers.

Impeachment can't come any sooner this time around to stop this bleeding...

Realistically, he won't be impeached for any of this, he has gotten inmunity because of the ruling of the supreme court some months ago. And also, I don't know how this could possibly have something to do with Trump, do you mean his associates dumping his token to realize gains?
I don't think the token of Trump has the capacity, liquidity and influence to unleash a bloodbath over the market has it is currently going on though. What we are seeing is likely due to people massively cashing out their gains in the alternative coin market, moving it into USDT and USDC. alts already had a pretty much good rally this year, it was expected we saw some correction, before they went back to normal.

You probably have some political bias against Trump, which you should not extrapolate into Cryptocurrencies, unless we talk about Bitcoin and Trump fully embracing it as an asset.

this thing making me pessimistic whether altcoin season gonna come, back then people were so hyped up with alt rally thinking it'd last only for it to end abruptly and now we're all at ATL.

maybe due to the tariff war, some countries retaliate, and there's impending economic war happening right now, which affect BTC but the one that got affected the most whenever BTC dumps is altcoin, few weeks ago alt are hitting ATL, now they are breaking their bottom floor setting another ATL record.

though honestly I think it's just market on the play and abandoning majority of altcoin because frankly speaking most of them holds no underlying value at all, just hype.

Where have you been when Trump has been telling people that he supports cryptocurrency and he laid out plans on how the US will adopt cryptocurrency, even to the point of creating Bitcoin reserves? Have you wondered why Bitcoin reached the 6-digit level and Trump's contribution? Better check the reality of what really happened for the past 10 months.
There would be certain declines after every rise. The Trump effect is real, but even without Trump, Bitcoin would have reached triple digits. Now the markets are immediately affected by fear. Trump took a lot of liquidity from the token market he issued, but how much can it be, the current crash is not due to just one thing. If we look at Bitcoin, it is still very close to triple digits and has good support here, I see this as a good thing.

He just sitted on the presidency and why there's a blame for him now that the altcoins market is dumping? Bitcoin is on ATH and then we're on a correction. I don't see any problem if we're seeing it having a healthy correction right now. There is no need to blame him to be honest and his election did even made noise to make the market rose to another level. Why would he be impeached already? come on, this is going nowhere.

I am not sure what OP means by this, but it would make sense that if trump was given credit for the bull run as a Trump pump, even when he wasn't a president yet; so why no give him credit for the crash, when he is literally in power now? It's just a Trump Dump now. Or maybe his supporters are saying now that trump can only affect markets and other world things when someone else is in charge?

Crypto markets react easily to other markets, which are not doing well for USA right now. Trump's policies are being reacted to, and everyone saw this coming. Hopefully you have been shorting. Or investing in eggs as their price is ATH.
