So, which very famous Muslim said this:

“The sweetest sound I know is the Muslim call to prayer”

“The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam”

“Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance.”

“These rituals remind us of the principles that we hold in common, and Islam’s role in advancing justice, progress, tolerance, and the dignity of all human beings.

“Islam is not part of the problem in combating violent extremism – it is an important part of promoting peace.”

“Throughout history, Islam has demonstrated through words and deeds the possibilities of religious tolerance and racial equality.”

“The Holy Koran tells us, ‘O mankind! We have created you male and a female; and we have made you into nations and tribes so that you may know one another.’”

That´s right, the name of that very famous Muslim is Barack Hussein Obama II.

Executions in Saudi Arabia at a 20-year high due to advancing justice, progress, tolerance, and the dignity of all human beings. Western leaders flock to Saudi Arabia to bow to the creeps in charge there and crawl on their bellies before them like dogs.

And 90% of those who get executed are either the minority Shiites, or the immigrant workers. The Sunnis, especially those who have strong connections to the royal family never face any punishment for their crimes. A few years ago, there was a Sunni imam (Fayhan Al Gamdi), who raped and killed his 4-year old daughter. He was let off, after paying a fine.

. the ability to migrate to another country is a privilege the rulers of that country give you it is not a right you are born with.

That's merde on a stick my friend.  I'll go wherever the fuck I want thank you very much unless you personally come to stop me, but yeah, not being torn apart by border orcs is a privilege for everyone.  Sure.  Also having them not come to your house and rip you apart is a privilege, as is having a type O star relatively nearby and being able to breathe.

Quote

there is nothing un american about denying entry to barbarians who adhere to a supremacist totalitarian ideology and would overthrow your system in a heartbeat if they could. i'm not even talking about terrorism. they just need to outbreed you and vote to implement the sharia. muslims are 20% of the french population and they are set to be the majority of all births in sweden within a couple of years.

I hear you wrote something about islam in a forum, therefore you ARE a muslim and if you try to deny it that only proves you are a muslim.  You are a barbarian who adheres to supremacist totalitarian ideology and my gun proves it as well as these well-outfiited uniformed orcs, who while dim, as you can tell, are already tearing apart your house and family.  Have fun in prison camp.

(That's how it goes when you support fascism my friend.  You might want to reconsider buying weapons for those orcs; the momentary feeling of scapegoat anger release ain't worth it.)

So far everyone else are spending to much time trying to knock him down instead of making any other suggestions.

That can work to his advantage. If the Republican primary front-runners unite against Trump (Rubio, Chris Christie, Jeb Bush, Fiorina.etc), then a counter-polarization will occur within the rank and file Republicans, with most of them uniting behind Trump. And in case Trump wins the GOP primary, then the establishment guys will have no other option but to support him.

I wouldn't trust any survey made in Africa. In Uganda, Chad or any third world country it's incredibly difficult to make a survey with a panel of people which is truly representative of the global population. And it's impossible to do it by phone like in a rich country.

Exactly. I will give you an example. Recently there were elections in the Indian state of Bihar. One of the opinion polls claimed that the center-right BJP will win 150+ seats and their left-wing rivals will win somewhere around 60-65 seats. But when the results came out, it was just the opposite. The lefties won 170+ seats, and the BJP got less than 60.

I wonder why they exclude Saudi-Arabia in those surveys. Maybe it has to do with the cozy relations that those who are feeding terrorism by pretending to fight it, have with the medieval fruitcakes and terror supporters in charge of that country.

They excluded Saudi Arabia from the survey because the Saudis are too stupid to even hide their pro-ISIS sympathies from the mainstream media. It is an open secret that members of the Saudi Royal Family have spent tens of millions of USD in funds to the ISIS, starting from 2012 onward. The ISIS wouldn't even exist if the support from Saudi Arabia is not there.

Yeah, I guess when you´re best buddies with the source of terrorism (al-Queida, ISIS) and practically crawl at the feet of that source, the more you "fight" terrorism the stronger it gets. And when you categorize homicidal maniacs such as al-Queida´s franchise, as "moderate opposition" well, there can be little question about your motives anyway.

The constitution is a set of rules for the government to live by, and a statement of American values. If we allow our government to pick and choose who to apply the values and standards to, then better hope your group isn't next.

The constitution clearly specifies persons and citizens at different points.
persons means non citizens living on american soil. there are debates over how much of the constitution should apply to non citizens on american soil or to american citizens abroad but that's not what we're dealing with here. the ability to migrate to another country is a privilege the rulers of that country give you it is not a right you are born with.

@spendulus sorry i forgot to include them, i see that bryant coleman has posted the isis one, here's the link to the sharia questions. the worrying thing is there's not much difference between these results and the ones that get taken in western countries.

Yeah, thinking is one thing - necessarily disclosing in surveys what one thinks quite another. It should be clear to most people. But of course if they really want to believe something no matter what, they´ll  first of all get rid of any such obstacles as reasoning and logic.

Also, we don't know their terminology and methodology. Leftists groups such as Pew are famous for twisting their survey methodology, to justify their political goals. Also, they might have surveyed only the urban regions, where the population is more liberal and educated. Strongholds of Islamist insurgencies are not always accessible for these survey groups.

Very interesting charts.  I am surprised at the low support for ISIS among the countries cited.  By the way, do you have a link for these charts?

Don't get fooled by the numbers. Most of those who said "Don't know", and many of those who said that they don't support ISIS are secret Islamic State sympathizers. The survey was conducted by a Western agency, and I am sure that some of the respondents hid their jihadi sympathies from the survey-takers. And here is the link:

http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2015/11/17/in-nations-with-significant-muslim-populations-much-disdain-for-isis/

That is why links are required, to assess various aspects of such surveys and their methodology.

I think your interpretation is too simplistic. Regardless of what you think of muslims, don't you think that divisive attitudes like this could increase radicalisation in muslim communities, along with sympathy for what the terrorists want?

I'm not saying that the terrorists are right or anything, but it seems very short-sighted to want to ban 1.6 billion people from your country because of the actions of a few thousand. I would expect the 1.599 billion who don't want to blow you up wouldn't agree, and some of them might actually decide they do want to blow you up now, for being a dick (not you personally, the West).

Blanket bans tend to have many unforeseen consequences, just look at the drug war. I don't think things are as black & white as you believe.
what the terrorists want is to conquer our countries "by the wombs of their women" and enslave us. these guys aren't eta, the ira or kla who had territorial or civil rights demands and could be negotiated with.

will it make them dislike us more? possibly, but since we'd be doing our best to keep them out instead of importing millions of them every year, what they think of us from their own countries shouldn't cause us any majors problem

time we all faced the reality that their beliefs are incompatible with ours. we believe in the rule of law and they believe sovereignty belongs to their god. and we aren't talking about 0.1%. most muslims believe in the death penalty for adultery and apostasy and about two fifths believe sharia should apply to non muslims. and if polls are to believed at least 100 million of them support isis. importing millions of savages into your country and giving them free shit so they can breed like rats and outnumber you within 50 years is a stupid idea.

Is this really true what´s in the OP?? 25% of Muslims in the U.S. believe that violence against Americans in the United States is justified as part of a global Jihad, and 50% believe that they should have the right to live under a Sharia governance? That is staggering. If it´s true I can´t blame Trump all that much for being nervous, especially since the people in charge don´t seem to be concerned at all about this situation.

Only a small part of the American Muslims are skilled immigrants. Almost one-third of them are African-American, mostly from the Nation of Islam, Moorish Science Temple of America and other fringe groups. Another one-third is Pakistani or other Asian or Arab, mostly doing blue-collar jobs. Don't expect these groups to think rationally.

Besides, I don't think this could ever be legal. There are laws in America (and in every western country) which prevents segregation because of race, sex or religion.

I am not judging but this is only a matter of playing with law. We have secret courts and secret law, so why would it not be possible?  Huh

It is only because of the ignorance of the people as to how to use the Preamble to the Constitution, and the 6th, 7th, and 9th Amendments.

Smiley

Yes, that's what I thought. I'm not familiar with American law, but this can't be standard law preventing segregation, it's probably in the American constitution.

I also wonder how such a scheme could me implemented. Let's I'm flying to the US tomorrow, would there be a guy at the airport asking everyone if they're muslims, and send them back right away? What if someone lies? How to check? Will you have to eat a slice of bacon to prove you're not muslim?

That's all right with me, I like bacon.

Select groups of people certainly can be constitutionally barred from entry, curfews set on them, and other restrictions.  There are Supreme Court cases on this matter.

And as far as I'm concerned, if you like bacon you should get in.

Regarding Muslim immigration, it's European problem now, but USA started it with their policy and wars in Iraq, Libya and Syria now.
It will be fair that Americans at least now support financially EU to solve this immigration crisis because they started it.

This is an interesting development.

I've thought from the beginning that Trump could be a sort of unaware actor, installed in the presidential campaign to make the other Republicans look more tolerant, and subsequently more likely to be voted in. I'm not suggesting a full blown conspiracy, just that a few people in power may have done some favours earlier on in his campaign, with this as an ulterior motive.

But I think he's been doing a lot better than anyone predicted, as the Canadian in South Park said:

"By the time we were ready to say, "OK, let’s get serious now, who should really be president", he was already being sworn into office. We weren't paying attention!"

The guy is a fucking moron, that much is clear. Whether he understands the stupidity of this latest statement, or actually believes it would work, is anyone's guess. What he's essentially doing is playing on the idea that most of his fuckwitted electorate don't really understand much about terrorists or Muslims, and giving them an easy to digest chunk of black & white legislation to get excited about.

I firmly believe that this shit actually shows that the terrorists are winning. Ridiculous statements like this will increase divisions between Muslim/Christian relations, give the terrorists more reasons to blow people up, and increase the likelihood of people sympathising/joining them.

I personally admire the law of United States because this law always protected the rights of human being, irrespective their religion.

Interesting - the White House under Obama has this fantastic record at breaking and disregarding the law, but you would like to hold that they are the ones to interpret the law?

But why is it even the "wrong message?"

It is the responsibility of the immigrant to prove that they meet the immigration criteria, not the responsibility of the USA to prove that they do not.

And there have always been restrictions on immigration.  Various groups and nationalities have always been assigned quotas.

If Trump wasn't so clueless, he would know the answer didn't change since Eisenhower first asked that. And it's worrying how many posters here believe discriminating against millions of people is acceptable.
Actually, it's not necessary to phrase the matter as "discriminating against millions of people."

How about "ACTUALLY APPLYING EXISTING LAW" to millions of new immigrants who happen to be Muslim?

There might be hope for America maybe if you react in time and don't want to be ruled by Sharia Law. Western Europe will be totally Islamic continent probably by 2050 is nothing will change with the current immigrant law. America still have chance to avoid that. What is really eating us from inside is overgrowth political correctness - the bane of western society.

Your country may be your worst enemy
Interesting idea, but that doesn't solve the problem of the millions of muslims who are already in every major country.

Muslims in America unite! Become bona-fide Christians. Then, when least expected, strike.

Trump will cause the above to happen.
