Trump has already done way better than anyone expected - let's face it, this is a guy who refuses to shake hands with people - sort of the key foundation of politics in the USA.  His negatives were going down before the debate.  Ironically, it is his comments AFTER the debate that have hurt him more than his reference to his feud with Rosie O'Donnell.  It will be interesting to see what his numbers do post debate.

I think it was unwise to make the remark he did, but I think a lot of people are tired of the politically correct mafia, yet, this was on FOX news.  His comments about their anchorwoman may wind up being far more damaging than anything to do with O'Donnell.

Who cares what he says about her? He is in a feud with her so of course he is not going to have a ton of nice things to say about her. That really had nothing to do with the debate and why he had to answer this and other questions that had nothing to do with the election. Yes, he has said a few things that might not have been the best, but most presidents and politicians say lots of things. Let’s look at Clinton who is running. She is hiding lots of emails about things she ordered and no one cares, but Trump saying something about someone he doesn’t like is such a big deal.

I wish the GOP would actually ask some relevant questions. They were the most difficult with Trump, but they were not nice to any of the candidates. ...

That was a scheme, be critical of them all to make cover for being critical of Trump.  Don't fall for it.

Just watch this video. Trump is great. Finally there is a person who bashes political correctness. I'm so tired of it in the media and it seems like I'm not the only one who shares this opinion. Now I'm starting to doubt that Trump has any chance to win but he is still one of the few persons who tells the truth. I'd like to see him being the president but sadly he is way too straightforward to win.

First he have to win the Republican primary. That will be difficult, even though he is currently polling at around 30% of the vote. A better idea would be to declare Rand Paul as the VP candidate. That can increase his support to somewhere around 40%. But even if he wins the GOP primary, doing so against Hillary will be extremely tough. 99% of the Blacks, LGBT, and the Hispanics are going to vote for the Pinocchibitch. So Trump has to get enough votes from the remaining 65% of the voters, who are White, Asian or American Indian. So if he has to win, he will need 77% of the vote from this section. Extremely tough.  Angry

They did not let any of them speak about policy or the exact changes that they would make in office. Any time anyone tried to get something in about their new policies and what they would change in office, they were dinged and told to be quiet. I guess the GOP just wants to hand the election over to Hillary since their candidates are not allowed to talk at all.

I do not have to fire off anything towards Trumpy, he is his own worst enemy and he sure as heck is not liked by many Republicans. Trumpy will never sit in the Oval Office, count on it. Enjoy your short lived fantasy while it lasts.

WE put those Republicans in office to do something that turns out they were scared to do. Trump says exactly what Conservatives want to hear. Republicans are becoming a minority on the right faction. 7 years of Obama has pushed most Republicans further right into Conservatives.
Not only pushed them further right, but totally pissed them off a lot more than most Republicans.

Now let's see where that leads...

Waves after tsunamis of votes and nothing has changed in DC...

I have already made my position on Trump clear, he is not qualified to lead this country, but then again neither is anyone in the Democrat party who are on the ticket...

I do not think he will have enough votes. Trump does not expect he can be the president himself, he just want the publicity from running.

That's where I disagree with you. I wholeheartedly believe Trump wholeheartedly believes he can win the Presidency. He's that narcissistic/delusional.

What I mean is that people should say what they mean and mean what they say, not have to (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)foot around worrying about if someone may be offended because the wrong descriptor was used...

I a way I agree, people should know what sort of person the candidate really is, with Trumpy he proves he is not fit to run this Nation.

Nor his businesses apparently (4th bankruptcy is a charm?). It's amusing to think that he whole-heartedly believes that with four bankruptcies under his belt, he's the person who can clean up the national debt, as he so proudly boasted last night.  Roll Eyes  Maybe someone should tell him bankruptcy isn't an option for this one?

Yes, ludicrous comments are usually remembered for a long time, meaning this is last shot at holding any political office.

Pointing out that illegal immigration is a serious problem is hardly ludicrous. It seems many progressives are at Jeh "Who's Kate Steinle" Johnson's level regarding the matter.

Donald Trump slammed comedienne and former talk show host Rosie O’Donnell in the first 10 minutes of the GOP presidential debate on Thursday.

Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly asked Trump to respond to the comments he’s made about women on Twitter and on his former NBC reality show “The Apprentice.”

"When it comes to women, you’ve called them fat pigs, dogs and slobs," Kelly said.

“Only Rosie O’Donnell,” Trump interrupted to cheers.

“For the record, it was well beyond Rosie O’Donnell,” Kelly retorted before finishing her question.

"Does that sound like the temperament of a man we should elect for president?" she asked.

Trump has famously feuded with O’Donnell for years.

Shortly after his put-down, O'Donnell tweeted, “try explaining that 2 ur kids.”

But he hates Rosie O'Donnell more!

There's no way Trump will get the nomination. But he might open the public's eyes to the appeal of voting for someone who isn't a robot politician. That's the greatest benefit Trump can provide in this process.

Meanwhile Hillary hits on woman inappropriately, goes after rape victims in court as a lawyer, lets her husband cheat on her, etc.

Donald Trump is perceived as wealthy and successful despite a history littered with fiscally unsound decisions and bankruptcies. He is brash, self-obsessed, and doesn't care what anyone thinks of him. He is the biggest believer in his own infallibility, and refuses to apologize for any of his actions. OF COURSE this man should be President, he's the perfect microcosm of America!

He had a lot of restraint last night when asked if he had the temperament to be President based on what he said about a woman who looks best on her knees. I mean, Bill Clinton really got oral sex from Monica in the oval office, and is Hilarys husband, and you want him voted back in, in a way via Hilary. It was so stupid but he could have had an epic response for that.

The way I see Trump is this; he's not likely to win the presidency, but because he's speaking about problems the county has directly, passionatley and directly instead of worrying about so much about how he does it, people appreaciate it. MANY people know we're in trouble on several fronts, but year after year the establishment political machine rolls on without really fixing anything. They make vague promises, give lofty "feel good" speeches, pander to whatever they think will give them an edge to stay in office and so on....but they never lead, they just fall in line with the machine. It's BS. Everyone knows it's BS but because they're at a loss when it comes to changing it they just vote and hope. So when a guy like Trump comes along and starts shedding light directly on the issues in terms "America first", "America winning again", they can't help but cheer him. And they should.
Personally, I'm skeptical of him on several issue fronts, but I sure a heck like the way he's attacking the issues and forcing others to take a stand or get out of the way.

Until political correctness becomes part of politics. Persons in power and popular person love one thing the most, that society is reacting to their words.
A society don't need words from a few very powerful and a few very rich, it needs self thinking unique individuals, the common citizen.
It was never a rich person or politics that came in trouble in history, it was always a society that came in trouble.

I do not have to fire off anything towards Trumpy, he is his own worst enemy and he sure as heck is not liked by many Republicans. Trumpy will never sit in the Oval Office, count on it. Enjoy your short lived fantasy while it lasts.

And thats a good thing they need to reformatted and rebooted in the as* by Trump anyway from the nworder they got all wrap up in.

He hates civility, the truth, anyone not white and rich and anything to do with class, in other words he hates a lot of things.

Liberal civility = tyranny.
