Donald Trump should not be allowed to appoint any FBI director or any other high ranking officials as long as he is being investigated.

I think Trump has not done anything wrong as the reason given for firing the director of the FBI is worthwhile. His investigation about classified email is not saying the through according Trump.

The main reason Trump fired all the people in his administration,he does not trust that people.I would guess that the trump would fire people immediately if he sees a little suspicion in them, well according to me its not good for america at all.

I think that was the reason why Comey was fired. He was appointed during the previous administration, so obviously Trump had suspicions about him. Anyway, this is bad news for Hillary.

Trump suddenly fired the Director of the FBI. He led the investigation concerning relations with the Russian Trump. Maybe he gets too close to the answer? Nixon once did, but it did not save him from impeachment. What is your opinion?
The reason why Trump fired the FBI Director is not because he wanted to close the case against him pertaining to his relations to Russia. The basic and primary reason why he fired the FBI Director is due to the lack of trust and confidence. Without trust the President and his subordinates cannot work together and it will result to turmoil.

So, I get that Comey may be incompetent, I was confused when he made the statements about the emails; it seemed spiteful rather than informative. Buy why now? Comey 'had guts' when he went after Hillary initially, but now he's not fit for his post?

Don't you think it's odd that he has directly fired 3 government officials that have been in active investigations against him and his administration? 3, in the 1st hundred days.

I'm no friend of Comey. But this is beyond suspect, ethically, he should have allowed the investigation to finish before releasing Comey. He's sealed his fate regardless; besides ensuring that Republican town halls will be the most unchill places on earth, he just doomed the relelection chances of the majority of the GOP. AHCA, then this? And the AHCA is dead in the water in Senate; touching this in its current iteration is career suicide. It will dissolve into the same interparty arguing that split the Republicans vote last time.

This is starting to fall apart.

There can be another reason. The director believed in the connection too much and would create suspicions when there should be none.
Think of it like this: you are an honest person and an employee, but a private eye gets hired to check if you're not a pedophile. He goes around the neighbourhood saying that he's investigating you because there's a suspicion you could be a pedo, but he'd openly say there's no proof yet and it's just a case he got paid to look at. I bet everyone would think you're guilty and wouldn't speak to you. He could get annoyed by those false rumors even if he's not guilty, but I agree that firing the investigator is a bad move. It will only give ground to more speculation.
In Congress are already talking about how to assign this investigation to a special Prosecutor. I think Trump is overestimating their capabilities. He thought that after the attack on Syria, he's rehabilitated. He no more suspected.
