So, are you the asshole behind this scam? or you just try your luck by hoping some fool sends $80 ETH to that address? Roll Eyes

I already tried it also requested for Ethereum not usdt are you sure you can use usdt instead of Ethereum

I meant on cowswap you pay gas fee from token you are swapping from. In your case, it will be usdt. I tested myself just now, and didn't have any eth on my wallet, yet I could trade by paying gas in token I was swapping from.

They asked ETH for gas if it's your first time,
However, they still needed to pay gas fees (in ETH) to execute approval transactions the first time they wanted to trade any token.
furthermore I doubt they don't ask for gas at all because moving tokens should somehow incentivize network validators. Tbh I haven't followed the development of the ETH protocol for a long time, I think they have now implemented their capabilities a kind of CPFP in bitcoin.

I have traded on cowswap before, but traded $SAIL for first time today,  gas fee was paid in token itself, had no $ETH in my wallet.

You need some amount to use as gas fees mate and nothing that you can do about this and now also that you have been tagged it will be harder for you to have lender so maybe what you need now is to use cash to buy something to use as gas .but for now sorry to say 40$ is such a  decent amount to risk in this one sad but I we cannot help you mate.

AFAIK, all of the platforms and swaps will require you some fee. I guess that's all you have to do and with the trust score you have, there will be no one that's willing to have the transaction for you unless you ask some escrow that will do it for you and you'll still going to cover the fee of the escrow. $40 of ETH to $80, if you're willing to pay that why not just something else and buy with your local exchanger using other ways of depositing and transacting it with that amount just for the fee and transfer it to that wallet.

It seems you still don't understand, there is no coin protocol runs without rewarding the network validators. Gas fees are something that is attached to the coin regardless of what wallet platform you use. If you don't like that, then you have to go back to the conventional money.

I would repay it with $80
Looking at your trust score, doing so is like betting on a crypto multiplier Tongue
