Oh Well,

No win this time around. Maybe next month.

Code:
{
   "workername": "3MbtxahpbkC1fGhvcWR7Ja38u8cwN9wzY8.240523_1PH",
   "hashrate1m": "517T",
   "hashrate5m": "832T",
   "hashrate1hr": "989T",
   "hashrate1d": "544T",
   "hashrate7d": "107T",
   "lastshare": 1716545190,
   "shares": 16009000000,
   "bestshare": 146699843532.7772,
   "bestever": 146699843532
  }

At least it was pretty easy to set-up and get running. The only thing I couldnt seem to work out was how to adjust the default difficulty. Addding the suggested d= didnt seem to make any change, perhaps it cant be updated once the run has started.

Anyway, it worked.

Will use https://www.miningrigrentals.com/ again.

I have been using them on and off for years with no issues.

Keep in mind unless you are solo mining and get lucky it's just about impossible to make any BTC when you are renting. Margins are so thin that their fees will be more then your profits.

Thanks Dave,

Yes, that was the intention depending on the cost, I was aiming to do a 1PH for 1Day on occasion pointed at solo.ckpool.

Nicehash looked good until I tried to set-up an account, which they then told me could not be used because I was in the UK. They could have mentioned that before all the hassle of signing up!

I'll take a look at miningrentals.com. Thank you.

Cheers

G.

--- Update

My first 1PH run is underway.

Thanks again for the lead Dave.

Wish me luck, I think I'm going to need it  Wink

I'm looking for a mining rental provider preferably one that can be trusted.

I cant use Nicehash, which probably would have been my preference since they no longer accept accounts based in the United Kingdom.

What others are available?

Thanks

G.
