it looks i had to activate myself on the TRON network. I don’t invest anything. I transfer profits out. then turn around and send it right back.

Firstly, there was no incoming transaction into your address. The so-called site did not send anything. Had they sent your new address some TRX, the account would have been automatically activated, and we would be able to a see a Transaction ID

tronset.pro looks like a scam to me. Yes, they may have paid you the first transactions, but that was just to fool you into investing more, and then they stop sending you anything. That's how Ponzi schemes, pyramid schemes or exit scams work.

It is posted on Twitter as a way to make passive income. It successfully would transfer to a previous wallet (before it was compromised) and I was also able to convert to local currency and transfer it to my local bank account.

unfortunately the mining site tronset.pro doesn’t have a section to show outgoing transactions. I’m not sure why. I have reached out to their support, with no luck.

say i “activate” the new wallet, would it release the transaction in limbo or is it a loss?

No, if the funds are not there. There's no point in sending funds or activating anything.

But I'm starting to think that the problem here is the site you're using and not your wallet. Are you sure it's not a scam? I have googled it, and it has barely any online presence. How did you come across the site?

address: TFvgkttfyCmmyS8HZzJCnMtkPK7VUMADdT / sent 434 TRX from mining site.

it is a newly created wallet within Exodus. my previous wallet in Exodus was compromised. I was instructed by Exodus to create a brand new one. The first time I’ve sent TRX profits to my old address before it becoming compromised, I didn’t have to add TRX to it.

not sure if relevant, but I successfully received BTC yesterday in my BTC address within the new wallet without having to add funds to it.

Okay and do you have the transaction ID? From the site that shows that funds were sent to this address? Because by looking at Tronscan (a Tron explorer) We can see that this address has never received nor sent anything[1]

As for you not needing to activate your bitcoin address, then that's normal. This "activation" is something related to the Tron network, and not the bitcoin network or the Exodus wallet.

I'm not that familiar with the Tron network so I could be mistaken here but from what I know, in order to activate an address, you need to send some amount of TRX to the address first but since you've already done that, could you share with us the address? or how much is the amount you've sent at least?

I had to create a new wallet with a new incoming TRX address. I sent my TRX mining profits from Tronset to my new TRX address. When i check for confirmation on Tronscan blockchain. it says “inactivated address.” is this because the address is brand new within my wallet? My last two days of profits was being sent to my old TRX address which was compromised. if it is not because it is brand new, how do i get it to be an active address?
