Anyone can offer his escrow service and it is up to users to trust him or not.
No, they can't! Even if they do, it's not endorsed by the members on the forum and they might get tagged for the same. Moreover, no one in their right minds will offer an escrow service when they know they aren't trusted around. Only scammers do that.

Since the escrow didn't scam anyone, you have nothing to do, you can keep an eye on him to detect any scam attempt, if so, then you can report him in the scam accusations section.
So you mean we have to wait for him to scam someone to take actions? That's pathetic. Given the history of escrow scams, we know how unreliable are these newly created account escrows.

He has the right to ask questions but i prefer to remove the name of the user since he didn't scam anyone at least until now.
Are you willing to use him as an escrow for a deal of about $1000?

Is it hard to understand what i already said?
Everyone started from scratch. Tradefortress, Escrow.Ms, Quickseller, tomatocage, OGNasty, Sj, and others are born ready to be an escrow?
And what's wrong with someone willing to be an escrow? Being a legendary or a hero means that you are trusted enough? Having more than 100 positive comments on your trust means that you aren't willing to scam anyone?
It is all related to a probability score. The higher profile & the more positive trusts you have, the lower the probability you turn to the dark side (but the risk of a huge scam becomes way higher).
Personally I wouldn't trust an anonymous escrow for a huge transaction for example but I will trust an anonymous one (with a known profile) with a cheap transaction.

As a confirmation proof of what you explained, i found a user got tagged for almost the same reason:
User: mdayonliner
Trust summary: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=1432468
He got tagged because he tried to go from $0 to $100K+ escrow in one post, with no reputation, in a very high profile thread Roll Eyes

If I go through the OP concern, it looks valid when I read the comment.

Send me a pm on telegram @codered7

User instead of giving list of escrow trying to divert that user in private conversation in telegram, outside the boundary of forum. This should be first flag.

Normally, that would be a concern... But you've neglected to mention that the OP actually requested contact on Telegram:
Hello,
I would like to know if you know a reliable escrow able to handle international sales buying operations. The procedure with which one must work must be simple and precise. I guarantee you% of transactions. immediate contact on telegram: @Supernjk

So, if anything, one could argue that SBBEV8 has actually been more transparent by posting on here when they could simply have just contacted the OP directly on Telegram... And no-one would know what they were doing. #justSaying

User do not have any escrow thread, never given any service like this and now asking for PM look a second flag.
But I will give benefit of doubt might be he need to write this in some another thread and posted in that thread.By looking his post history ,He is constantly looking/applying for job and asking in almost every post to contact him in telegram.
OP still you have doubt then you can move it to reputations, not the meta topic

He has the right to ask questions
Really, that being said, ill roll out a few questions for you to help me with..
When will bitcoin die
Is this the end of bitcoin
Can bitcoin rise again..
If bitcoin is sold for X how much will Y be worth
Basis of bitcoin..

We've got a search option,we are definitely not entitled to start threads that has been answered a million times already

I wish demerits  exists and we can award you for it. It is not for this useless post only but also for twisting the valid statement of Invoking.
Whatever OP asked here is not a topic of Google search.

Firstly this thread ought not to be in meta, nor on any section of this forum....
It's rather appreciated trying to be the devils advocate really..
If you feel someone is really about to or on the verge of falling prey to scammers, the proper thing to do would be to PM such user with reasons why you feel so,this redundant thread wouldn't help save such user,as how are we sure he/she will even see it..

Besides there is no proof of any actual shady dealings, you mustn't be on the forum escrow list,to serve as one, though we advice users make use of the ones the forum provides..
And every user is entitled to carry out his/her transactions whichever way he/she feels, and also protect themselves from scams,as it's unmoderated by the forum...

Absolutely no reason for this thread

As a new user of the bitcoin forum, and after checking all the rules and many threads about different issues, i was stunning where to publish this topic or is it even needs to be published, so i just decided to publish it in the meta section in order to ask if this is an issue that need to be highlighted or not.
Here what i found:
User SBBEV8 want to offer an escrow service for someone who asked about escrows in the forum:
Check this thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.48073429 (archived)

By looking into the profile of SBBEV8 , there is no trade history at all and no trust history about previous similar services that may be provided by him. And by searchiing the forum, i found this awsome thread about trusted escrows where every user has a full description of the service he provides; user SBBEV8 doesn't belong to this list.

Here am not accusing user SBBEV8 to try to scam anybody but just confused between if he is trying to do some shady activities or he is just starting a new carreer by his offer.

Am really enjoying being a part of this nice forum as am willing to keep it as cleaner as possible.
For moderators, am really wondering if am doing the right thing or not, so please move the topic to the appropriate board if necessary or just delete it if unnecessary. I will lock it after getting the informative response.
As am not that good in english, am sorry about the bad use/spelling and Thanks for reading Smiley
