This will depend on several factors.

To be able to help, I will need to know, what is the voltage of your electrical network and how many volts your mining works.

Another question: do you have an exclusive circuit for mining, or do you have other equipment connected to the same circuit?

15amp is more than enough if you are from Africa like me, we have 220v here not 120v but the reason why fire starts most of the time is using a cheaply built extension box to run your mining rig, go with a higher amp extension box and also avoid using SATA cable to power graphic cards.

2500w at 120v would need 25 amp socket
2500w at 220v would need 15amp socket

So i would go the higher Voltage route and use a Nema 15amp twist lock plug (most of my farm is on these but we have 240v)

Formula is Watts needed / Voltage = Amps. Always round up…ALWAYS…and best to add a few more amps for safety.
