those aren't being made anymore. 6xxx series is what people are stocking now. Chances are if you find a place that has 5830/50/70's in stock, its the last of it. I picked up the last 5 5830's my wholesaler's ever gonna have in stock.

Good deal at 103$ CAD each.

Even with extender cables, I would like to see you fit 8 cards on that thing without having the motherboard melt

Not sure why you think he's a troll, but there is at least one 8 slot motherboard: MSI Big Bang Marshal.

go look at this chart:
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_Hardware_Comparison

Add up the Mhashes add the other equipment like motherboard, memory, power supply, see what fits your budget.
Check to see if the cards are in stock first

how are you going to fit more than 4 video cards in each motherboard?  Once you get >4 then you need separate rigs and your power consumption will go up accordingly.

HI, So I'm trying to figure out if i'd be better served by 8 5750's or 6 6870's or lets say 3 6950s, i'd like everyone to weigh in, im too new to bitcoin mining to be able to decide.  i suppose 5850's would be an option too.
