It shouldn't matter if you select "Standard Wallet" or "Wallet with two factor authentication" when restoring your wallet... Electrum will automatically detect that you are using a 2FA seed and you should see the text "Seed Type: 2FA" appear next to the "Options" button on the seed entry screen.

However, what you MUST do, is make sure you select "DISABLE" when you are prompted if you want to "Keep" or "Disable" the 2FA features of your wallet. You say you have lost your 2FA codes due to replacing your phone... so if you select "Keep" it will continue to require the 2FA codes... selecting "Disable" will then restore the wallet with two master private keys... so you will able to sign transactions and move your coins to a new wallet.

While restoring from seed you should select Wallet with two-factor authentication option, as explained here:

http://docs.electrum.org/en/latest/2fa.html?highlight=authenticator#restoring-from-seed In order to restore your wallet from seed, select "wallet with two factor authentication", as this tells Electrum to use this special variety of seed for restoring your wallet.

It should give you access to your wallet.

I am trying to get my Bitcoins to appear in a wallet I restored through my seed, as the first wallet where the Btcs are right now is locked from sending with 2FA. Which I lost due to getting a new phone. I've looked around and it seems that there is a way to get my coins back through restoring it with my seed. I just don't know exactly how. Any help is appreciated thanks!
