I don't know how I would get her to go to AA. She doesn't like being around people she doesn't know.

Give her an ultimatum...the way things are going, it sounds like she's going downhill. Ask her if she wants to get better, and if she does, to attend AA; meeting new people is better than continuing down in a difficult situation

I don't know how I would get her to go to AA. She doesn't like being around people she doesn't know.

The gift card didn't work. They needed a event number. I emailed gyft support to see if they have one.
I told my mom to call me back tomorrow morning.

My sisters don't want me to send her money. They keep on saying she will run me dry.
They said they asked her a few times if she wanted to come live up there and get help but she would always refuse.

Update: Support said the event number is under card details on the app.

If your mom has mental issue, or a problem with addiction with alchoal shouldn't 1st locate where she is, then go to an AA meeting or something. Is it you already tried everything?

Sorry to hear about your mom's situation. Western Union actually does not require an ID to receive money if you choose "Security Question" as a method of verification. This is used when someone has lost their ID or Passport and needs money wired to them or any other emergency. I would do it this way as it's the easiest way to send her the money she needs.

I'll take the bus down there on my day off work if I have to. The reason I have her ID is because she lost it awhile back and it was mailed back to our PO box.
