I may decide to get my own domain but the site is a hobby site at the moment as i try to freshen up on my coding skill set. I don't have any unrealistic plans for the site.

My advice is to get yourself your own domain I notice your site is hosted in a free domain site, and you are up against big competitor so many online web mining is running now and they are being run by big companies, I do not want to discourage but have checked the competition before creating your website.

i do not intend to trick anybody. i will update the site later today to remove auto mining without user input. But yes i do use coinhive to mine xmr wish is converted into the crypto of choice, like i said i am only starting and i would like it to be fair.

I have removed auto mining without user input. User must be logged in and have selected witch crypto they would like, then click start. At that stage the coinhive miner should then start showing the stats and credits are added depending on the total accepted hashes.

Your website starts mining with visitor's CPU right away, without asking anything.
Just visited the link and I can confirm this. So a word of caution: don't click on the website link.

The question is does the OP want to trick people into using their computer's CPU power without asking or not?

If the second is true, you should immediately make the necessary changes and ask for permission first!

Somehow I doubt that the intentions are honest. You have listed BTC, LTC as minable coins, which is out of the question for CPU mining even if you trick a lot of users into joining your program.

I was almost sure you do this, however, I tried it to make sure.

This is at least annoying and it's also illegal, since you didn't ask for permission.

So the first advice is to do mining only when the user wants that, add the possibility for the user to start and pause that.
