Bitget exchange is not so much renowned, I never heard about it and I don't know anyone who used that exchange.
This looks like one more Chinese exchange registered in Singapore, and this cointelegraph post is a paid article like you can see on page bottom.
Been renowned shouldn't be the bone of contention at the moment the interesting thing crypto exchanges are having their way in sports through sponsorship/partnership making both the football and crypto industry have massive boast. Bitget might not be well known by many but through their collaboration with Galatasaray they too should have a massive boast in their services.

Another positive achievement for the Turkish football Giants as they successful bag a sponsorship deal with world renowned crypto currency exchange platform, Bitget.
Bitget is a world class company that deal on Bitcoin and other related merchandise but have spread their tentacles and have partnered with the Turkish side, Galatasaray. This deal runs through the 2021/2022 season.
Galatasaray vice president, Bike Kanke is excited for this collaboration and stated that the club had being in dire need of a crypto company who had an interest in football and are glad that one of the world's leading crypto company has set their sights on them.
Bitcoin CEO, Sarah Lou is also excited for the partnership and is thrilled over the impact the club is having on the country. Bitget has partnered with clubs like Juventus and eSports teams like Professional Gamers League and Team spirit. Kudos to them 👍👍👍 https://cointelegraph.com/press-releases/bitget-signs-sponsorship-deal-with-turkish-football-team-galatasaray

Just goes to show how much money there is in this business and how football clubs all around the world will accept it from crypto firms with open arms. I think the biggest sponsorship partner in this arena was probably seeing Crypto.com plastered all over Formula 1 races, but this year also saw a record amount of crypto related advertisers at the Super Bowl. It's worth considering that all this money is effectively being funded by the super high commissions and fee structures that these sites use. Frankly, you might be better off avoiding the larger sites that are going heavy on advertising because there are plenty of smaller sites who do not charge as much - just do a little research to make sure they have quality reviews.

Bitgate is not a renowned crypto exchange to be honest. A lot of people within this community don't even know its name. But what's positive in this entire news is that a crypto company has done a sponsorship contract with a footbal team.

Such kind of association with sports clubs are actually a good way to boost visibility among that mass who have not yet joined the crypto bandwagon. So that's a net positive!

As huge as Galatasaray may be in Turkey, for me it is the first time I heard of Bitget, nevertheless if they support crypto and showing it in the Galatasaray team is only beneficial for crypto as Turkey is relatively a big market I would say.The Turkish SuperLiga is leaded by Trabzonsbor and they are far ahead leading from the second place and Galatasaray unfortunately will not take in any European competition next year as they are far behind in the standings. It would have been a whole lot more beneficial if Galatasaray would have been able to play in European competitions next year.Winning the cup would have done just that but they are out of the Turkish cup also.

I remember years ago from now there was another crypto exchange that signed a sponsorship deal with another football team... The exchange was btcturk or something probably. There is so much money in crypto exchanges,  these kind of deals are becoming more popular lately. Galatasaray is huge in Turkey btw. One can even argue they are the most successful Turkish football team ever existed.

Every sports are almost getting a sponsorship that relates to cryptocurrency, for example the crypto.com logo can be seen in some MMA/UFC figther's post fight interview attire or their in ring attire, some NBA jersey also has a logo of cryptocurrency exchanges (and stuff). Either it is a big time exchange or a new one, this will have a big effect on the crypto community, it will only depend on the devs if they will either destroy the image of it or create a big name like the Binance and Crypto.com that created a big impact in the crypto community.
