Thanks for the guide, I was looking for it, but unfortunate you need EOS to create an account.
You can create one with bitcoin, eth or bitcoin cash at zeos.co

Why don't you put this thread on Altcoin discussions? Because that's where I think this topic should belong to, or probably move it to EOS ANN thread (if there is any).
No. This tutorial is for who looking to make an EOS wallet, this is not about crypto discussion.

I don't think that should be necessary. I created a wallet through eoskit without doing the 1 and 2 steps.
Just go here https://www.myeoskit.com/?#/tools/create.
There's also a short tutorials on how to make an eos wallet. Also you need to download Scatter to your chrome extension.
So how did you create your EOS wallet without an EOS account?
Step 1 is a must. In step 2 you can use Scatter but it's more difficult, Scatter  now disable chrome extension. You must install it to use. https://github.com/GetScatter/ScatterDesktop/releases/

Well I just did. Just search scatter at chrome web store and add it to desktop extension then follow the youtube tutorial in myeoskit.
That's it. When you have scatter then creating an eos account will be easy. Also I just pay it for 0.01327400 eth like it was less than $3.
You cant use eth to create eos wallet on myeoskit.com. you can create eos using bitcoin, eth and bitcoin cash on zeos.co but it takes very long time, more than half day.
My tutorial only take 5 minutes and it is the simplest way.

It looks pretty hard, not MyEtherWallet where is possible to make a wallet in a minute. Also, is it possible to make up a wallet without holding EOS?

System seems uncomfortable  Cool

Well done buddy. But, I am not holding EOS for now since it is not yet available in our very own local exchange. The exchange that we have here in local was limited to BTC, ETH, XRP and BCH. Yet, this will come in handy in the near future where EOS has huge potential to grow for more in terms of marketcap volume.

Aside from EOS, I do hope also that other establish crypto will be available in the local exchange. It is indeed great to have a lot of crypto as an option for investment. As we all know that some crypto are good for trading for its high volatility.

EOS has become a top cryptocurrency, many of you want to have a personal EOS wallet to store your EOS coin and also its token. Create EOS wallet is a little bit harder than ETH wallet. Today i want to show you how to create your own EOS wallet in easiest way.

1. First you have to have at least 0.8180 EOS in your exchange wallet, this number can be changed but will not less than 0.7 and more than 1 at this time, i recommend you buy 1 EOS. You can use any exchanges, Binance,  OKEx, Huobi,  HitBTC...

2. Visit https://nadejde.github.io/eos-token-sale/, click Generate EOS key to generate your key pair including Public key and Private key. This key pair acts like ETH key pair, keep them in safe place and never share your Private key with anyone.
This page is legit, they will not save your key pair information, check the source code: https://github.com/Nadejde/eos-token-sale
You can also use https://get-scatter.com/ to generate EOS key pair.

Then you will get your key pair.

3. Go to https://www.myeoskit.com/tools/account/create
In the New Account Name field, enter the name you like, it contains 12 characters using a-z and 1-5 only. In the Public Key field copy the publick key you generated above and paste it there. then click CONTINUE button.

4. After clicking CONTINUE, it'll show you as below. Log in to your exchange account that you buy EOS in step 1. Do the withdraw EOS action, in the image i use Binance, in the withdraw wallet fill signupeoseos, this wallet is fixed. In the memo field, copy the memo you get after click CONTINUE, it must be -, in withdraw amount field put 0.8182. Check again and do the withdraw action.

5. Wait a few minutes, after the exchange completed withdraw and sent EOS to signupeoseos. Go to https://bloks.io/ or https://www.myeoskit.com/explorer, put your account name in the search field and searching. You will see you have successfully created your EOS wallet.

DONE. Now you have your own EOS wallet, you can use it to store, send, receive EOS coin and token based on EOS blockchain.
