Desktop App for TV Shows better for you
I always prefer to download by torrent to watch tv series or movies. I dislike sites or apps. I want direct copiable video files.
Why no torrents? I use torrents only because I like to save the shows that I watch. Sometimes I watch them again. Shows like Game of Thrones deserve a second watch just to make sure you didn't miss anything in that episode. Then I like to collect them and save them to removable drives. I don't know why I keep them I just always have.
The other plus with torrents is that you have a choice of 1080p, 720p or others. You don't need 720p for stuff like simpsons so those I download the smaller files.
Streaming sites have annoying ads and sometimes pause or stop playing. I don't stream unless its netflix.
