There are several reasons why Twitter may not allow access to the account. One of the reasons is bad IP. If you are on a dynamic broadband, there is a possibility that someone before you used that same IP for illegal purposes. You can easily solve this if you reset your router and get another IP from your provider. Start from it so you'll see if this solves the problem.
Another reason may be that after creating the account, began to follow too many other users. Initially should be moderate and every day to add a few people, but not all at once.

Hello for some reason I can't create a twitter account - I only created one so far from different browser and now my sister wants to sign up and all we keep getting is "You are not allowed to perform this action." No explanation, nothing. We are using valid email address and valid password.. what to do?
