It is not surprising at all if even the Twitter will get interested on getting into Bitcoin and having some into his pockets because there are lots of famous personalities and even big institutions that have stated their interest on engaging into the world of crypto because of Bitcoin due to its surprising great improvement that it has been showing ever since last year upon reaching the expected ATH at the last weeks of December which have been broken in record upon reaching another ATH recorded early on this first month of year 2021. Due to lots of happenings and news being spread about Bitcoin, we can expect more personalities to state their interest about Bitcoin in the near future for it seems like every body is getting attracted on Bitcoin specially nowadays.

Jack Dorsey is a nice dude and long time crypto supporter.

What I read last was that he ran a full node - to popularize Bitcoin. And he's having a lot of crypto investments.
Absolutely correct so OP's Statement is Understatement and must be corrected .
underestimate....is any of my statements underestimate him?  I initially just thought he was just someone who was interested in Bitcoin because he followed the trend (not own Bitcoin but excited about Bitcoin because want famous) Looking @mk4 post I realize that he is very sincere with Bitcoin and is one of the biggest Bitcoin advocates in the world today.

You already said it, he is a businessman to the core after all. I think that given that Jack is a prominent person in technology business, I have to disagree with you on him not having any interest in bitcoin, the fact that he is posting about it on Twitter is something although we can't really trust what is said on the Internet.

He is one among the person who believe much on bitcoin. He has been holding a good volume of bitcoin and has been funding different projects that are well connected with the Bitcoin network. Once after the reveal of Elon Musk we get to see more and more personalities revealing their interest over Bitcoin. Dorsey is early into the market, and this time the entire market is getting crowded with large scale investors. This is much expected and the flow has begun.

Look the bottom line is the more people who are powerful and influencers like Jack and Elon putting #bitcoinBTC on their twitters its best for us.

This is an example of a fundamental force in being able to influence the price of Bitcoin or any other coin being promoted. The interest of the twitter founders in Bitcoin is of course great for Bitcoin and for them too. Twitter boss Jack Dorsey made up to 4,709 Bitcoin purchases. it was a wonderful purchase.

Jack Dorsey (the CEO of twitter)  just like Elon musk are visionaries that have identified and seen a very clear and bright future for Bitcoin. Being CEO's of top companies (Twitter, tesla, SpaceX etc) with interest in bitcoin, it  will surely drive its acceptance amongst other CEO's as well and others that see them as mentors and also increase the overall value of bitcoin. This developed interest, is very beneficial to the crypto community.

I never knew that he is really involved in Bitcoin that much. Thanks to mk4, I knew realized that he is one of the helpers to get Bitcoin up to this level. Having those kinds of backgrounds in science and technology, he is really a wonder for every one of us. Anyways, I'm really rooting for the Lightning development to be widely used.

Actually, I feel he likes the Bitcoin concept that has not been controlled by anyone. Nobody knows whether he has some bitcoins or not. At present, by seeing the bitcoin growth many new investors are taking interest in bitcoin and believing in bitcoin also that it has real potential.  Jack is a billionaire and such people when talking about bitcoin its good for further bitcoin development.
That is pretty contradicting of his company Twitter that censors people don't you think? I think that this person does have a bitcoin but at the same time it is more like he has a plan to develop a coin of his own that is going to support bitcoin or replicate bitcoin. Jack owns Square AFAIK so we can assume that he is also hodling some considerable amount of bitcoin but he is a businessman so my guess is he is just using bitcoin to earn more money. I have to agree, it is good that big names are supporting bitcoin because this means that for a normal hodler like me which will profit more than the current investors.

I think he has a lot of bitcoin, but he doesn't tell the public about it. He is a Twitter founder, so I think he is aware of everything that happens on the internet, including the bitcoin news. And with so much money he has, he can buy bitcoin from a long time ago, but he tells his interest in bitcoin right now as the price increases so high. It can bring a positive trend for cryptocurrency, especially for bitcoin, so bitcoin will have more chances to be accepted.

I often read news about Jack Dorsey, his interest in Bitcoin, no wonder Twitter is currently number one in developing the development of Bitcoin from the past until now.

What is interesting for me is that are Jack Dorsey's support for Bitcoin, as he said.

TWITTER BOSS JACK DORSEY SETS UP BITCOIN NODE TO SUPPORT CRYPTOCURRENCY

"does he have Bitcoin in his bag".
Yes, Jack Dorsey bought Bitcoin $ 10,000 in 2019 per week, maybe he is now very excited and believes in the benefits he is getting.

As said by: @Jack Dorsey at that time.

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey buying $10,000 in bitcoin each week as...

He was a little sorry for buying bitcoin when it was $ 10,000, why didn't he buy it at that time 5-10 Bitcoin every week, that's my mind, if I see him talking on his twitter.

Bitcoin is getting stronger day by day, don't invest your funds in shitcoins.

Actually some of His Businesses are already engaging in Bitcoin , I forget one of them but i saw that being tackled once here.
and he is not just a Interested because he already has in bag .

But of course His Mentioning will keep the Heat on and will encourage twitter enthusiast and user to learn and check what bitcoin is all about.

I really believe Jack Dorsey has quite a lot of Bitcoin in his wallet, actually only himself really knows how much Bitcoin he owns. Especially if a rich
person like Jack Dorsey is interested in something, he must try to have it. And also the current Bitcoin market situation is still a bullish trend,
this will definitely make people like Jack Dorsey want to collect as much Bitcoin as possible. I also agree with the advice in the opening post
that Bitcoin is getting stronger, stay focused on investing in Bitcoin, and immediately avoid investing in shitcoins.

Jack is one of the few billionaires of our time, not the traditionally glued one who have refused to move with the tide, clutching to the ancient ways of doing things. I prefer not to name them here. It's a little wonder that his site — Twitter has become a veritable source for crypto activities. Of course, a man like that will have a huge bag of whatever crypto he supports. Mark Zukerberg should awaken his desire too to join the crypto race after his dream of Libra seemingly collapsed. And now we have Elon Musk too coming in and tweeting about Bitcoin and Dogecoin and giving them gleam of hope. This is the type of development we want in the crypto space.

That's what happens when people who knew exactly how technology works talking about cryptocurrency not some old geezer saying "btc muh bad" just because the old man can't grasp the technology behind cryptocurrencies then assumes whole cryptocurrencies community is in the wrong.
Jack Dorsey really favor bitcoin in many of his tweets and retweets as I've been following him for quite sometime so it's not a new thing.

I recall how bitcoin rose after the news of Libra. In the bull market, if Jack and Twitter release their plans or roadmap to create their Tweeter cryptocurrency, hmm what to say about it, it can fuel the bitcoin rise to $100,000.

I won't surprise if it will appear some day as Facebook and Twitter are serious opponents and they want to fight with each other. They are giants in social media and won't stop to expand their ecosystems.

Nah. Jack Dorsey is smart enough to understand why it's really unnecessary for Twitter, a totally centralized service, to have it's own cryptocurrency. Truth be told, a blockchain isn't the solution to make anything better.

Saying that he is very interested in Bitcoin is a huge understatement. This dude is pretty much one of the biggest Bitcoin advocates we have today lol.

1. He owns Square, whereas one of Square's businesses is Cash App[1], a payments app where you can buy bitcoin.
2. He allocated $50 million[2] worth of Cash Apps cash holdings into bitcoin.
3. He funded $10 million into Lightning Labs[3].
4. He's helping speed up lightning network development in general through Square's ‘Lightning Development Kit’[4].

Once Twitter adapt this I am sure Zuckerberg will follow his lead and makes more so that Facebook will be ahead than Twitter. Having this big names in the crypto world will bring more and more people to invest in bitcoin I hope they would not expect a lot in bitcoin in case it might have some dips or some dump.

Jack Dorsey believes in Bitcoin and it didn't start of recent. There have been quite a lot of endorsement of the network from prominent individuals as well as traditional institutions, and today BTC has appreciated above 40k again, so I expect there to be quite a lot of speculations on the ongoing pump in the media as people start to FOMO. Twitter CEO have posted one or two things about Bitcoin and reinforced his believe in the network, he definitely has 'bitcoin in the bag' as expected.
This is very influential when Jack Dorsey says that because they want to start with more sophisticated technology and with the individual network that is much better than other networks, I believe their support for bitcoin is strong enough once they have applications that support it so it's now possible There is already a bitcoi in the bag.
Just look at the Bio, it still says bitcoin, which means their interest in bitcoin is so strong.

it seems that many big people in this world are interested in bitcoin, I am sure that the founder of Twitter has actually been interested in bitcoin for a long time or even keeps bitcoin. we know that twitter is one of the big cryptocurrency promotion spots today. This causes Twitter founders to be able to take advantage of their company to be in bitcoin because they must think of a large profit from bitcoin.

And this is the relevant information that people tend to forget nowadays. I see people going "bunkers" whenever they see Elon Musk adding "bitcoin" in his twitter description, hoping that this actually means something. The truth is that what we need is more "Jack Dorsey" people inn this world rather than "Elon Musk" personalities.

Don't take me wrong, I'm not bashing Elon Musk, I find him responsible for a lot of what Tesla is today. But regarding the crypto world, most importantly BTC, putting a simple description isn't enough to say that he is an advocate of BTC. Sure it's good to see that he supports it, but words alone won't help us reach adoption. What Jack Dorsey has been doing for the past couple of years is the way forward, and my hope is that in the coming years more and more personalities will realize this.

EDIT: corrected some typos... I blame the keyboard!

Good ol' Jack has been into bitcoin for a while now and had started the company cashapp to show his endorsement of the ecosystem of cryptocurrencies.

Yesterday he tweeted about running a node and it was a big news with multiple site publishing the news and i was not aware about him funding the lightning network.

But it is some new news that he has been interested in the lightning network as not many know he has a node supporting this branch of the blockchain.

I actually like to see more adoption from the general population rather than big investors and some of these institutional investors does not really care about BTCitcoin, all they care is to pump and dump and make the maximum profit. mk4 already pointed out that Jack Dorsey is a real advocate for BTCitcoin for a very long time and he is not here to pump the coin but to see real changes.

Saying that he is very interested in Bitcoin is a huge understatement. This dude is pretty much one of the biggest Bitcoin advocates we have today lol.

The guy obviously has been interested in bitcoins for a long time already, only chose not to over-advertise his interests because he never felt the need to do so. But obviously, of all his contributions in this industry as stated above, we can see that bitcoin really is gaining a lot of fame and turning a lof of heads from huge personalities in various industries. With this I can sense that adoption and demand for bitcoin can only go up  from now.
