Agreed. Shady ass projects hire PR & Marketing all the time without them being involved personally in any of the inner working of the project.
I've been hired a few times by projects that just dissapeared after a few weeks or months. Some are scam and others simply fail.
Bottomline is that when there are investors that believe in a project and they are prepared to risk their money then that's their choice and also their loss and the freelancers that got paid with that money are not to blame. The people in the signature campaign had critics about this but they forget they have promoted Ophion themselves too with their advertisement and they did want to get paid for it.

Are you in contact with the owners ? You are to be equally blamed if you're part of the team .They ran away with investors money and since you were the chosen manager for the campaign maybe you'd know better.Please help us with any input you can.Pls use the Sig campaign thread because again this discussion is not for here. I am not in contact with them since they put up their last statement. I was just hired last week to oversee the sig campaign and promote on twitter and such. I do not take any responsibility for any potential loss of investors funds.

I agree with you but as a manager locking a thread which is still active since members want payment is also a no go right?
I have to agree with Joel that you are equally to be blamed for till until you have done your utmost best to help find them or proof you are innocent. Because at the moment you seems quite guilty. Who in his right mind closes a thread when it is very active? Not a very good sign for a future campaign manager/promoter if you ask me?

The thread is open now because the escrow asked me to let him post his decision. You can discuss there openly. The only way I have been in contact with Hazelnutter is here on bitcointalk and a little on Slack.
