Running windows 7 64-bit. Have two 5970s. Both sapphire bios. One card is good. Other card is flaky. Gpu 0 on it is not worth using. So have three usable gpus between the two. First card can work at about 350 kHash per core with different settings than the second cards one gpu can do at 350 kHash. Considerably different memory and engine settings between the good card and the one good gpu on the other. I use 11.12 amd driver but may go to 12.8 again as not sure 11.12 was any more stable. 13.x drivers were unusable. I use Trixx to manage overclocks. I use cgminer 3.3.1. Questions:

1. When I have two 5970s installed, how can I tell the cards apart?  In trixx I just see four entries of like "Amd radeon HD 5900 series". Only difference is the bios between the master and slave bios are different but still two of them.
2. How do I disable the bad gpu in device manager?  Shows the same four entries.
3. Will trixx apply settings only to one card or across cards. There is a setting checked sync cards in multi gpu setup. Not sure what that does.
4. In cgminer how do I tell the gpus apart?  Cgminer -n just shows the same for each gpu.

Sorry for all the questions. Spent all day trying to get these to play nice but hard to tell the cards apart once they are both in the system together. Already found their stable settings individually.

Thanks.
