Hm, i'm not sure why hackers / scammers see value in your account as they can't change the password (because they don't own your mailbox). However, by spamming, they can let your  account be banned.

So, it's not really a bad idea.

Cryptsy uses (also) Authy. With Authy your cellphone shows you a particular code (which is useable for 20 seconds), by which you can log in. It works well, and it's free.

I was wondering if you are planning on adding 2fa to this forum? It is available on almost all websites that deal with Bitcoin.
A trusted account can be worth a lot to scammers, so I'm quite sure that adding this function would not be overkill.

Perhaps one where, when you try to log in, it sends a link to your e-mail address.
