If you have stored the private key on 2fa , i think you can enter on your account.
The key is important cause it will generate the code for you to access your account.

Hey guys, I was thinking today what would happen if I'd lose my phone, how would I get access to my binance/bittrex accounts if I have installed the 2fa?
I remember there was always some sort of backup code in case you're lost your phone. Or reset with email confirmation.

Normally, when you install the 2FA, the website (let's say an exchange) provides a private key.
If you forgot to write down the key, then turn off the 2FA and then turn it on again, and off course when you turn it back on, you write down the private key and keep it in a safe place.

On the new phone install the app 2. drive security key in the app (without synchronization, barcode) 3. Update time 4. It should work. So be sure to store secret keys in a safe place because they are needed for recovery 2 factor authentication

You should keep your private key for the 2FA

You should keep the backup password or whatever method depending on wich 2FA you are using.

If you don´t have it (it happened to me) :

1- You will sweat a lot.
2- I had 2FA on several exchanges.
3- ALmost all asked for high levels of identity verification
4- Some, especially one of them  asked for transaction history with addresses, dates and amounts.

In the end all went good i had 2FA disabled in all services and then r-enabled it again.
