yes I want the wallet on usb... I created that text file and its in the same folder as the exe but when clicking the exe file  from the usb on g: it calls up app data /roaming in c: still...should I place in a specific folder on g: or generic name will work(this is the defaualt wallet at startup w no balance yet that i'm referring to) I plan to make cold and petty cash wallet after I figure out how to get them saved and called from g: instead of c: everytime I open the usb client

Do you want your wallet to be on the USB key also?  You have to delete the default one (which will be in c:\appdata\blah) and create one on the USB key.  Make sure this is the correct wallet!

It'll save the blockchain files to the USB key also.  Make sure you're running it off the USB key (the multibit.properties needs to be in the same folder as the .exe and that needs to be the local directory).

...when opening either one the wallet.wallet file path goes through c: to the same path in app data/roaming...
