Make a fee between 200 till 400 satoshi if would help you faster for confirmed.

Just info for my experiences. Cool

I don't think that is needed now. The transactions are getting confirmed much quicker now, and a fee of 100 Sat/Byte may be enough for instant confirmation. I just checked the blockchain.info stats, and the number of unconfirmed transactions now stands at around 30,000. This is perhaps the lowest number we had in the last 2 months period.

Ideally, there should be an option to add the tx fee, if the transaction goes unconfirmed for 5-6 days.
There is... "Replace-by-fee"... available with all "good" wallets... ie. not broken crappy web wallets that default to low fees...

I saw BlockChain usually have problem with transaction history, I don't know why but why you don't try Coinbase or XAPO, they're easy to use, and their security is high quality too Cheesy

i don't want to create a new topic, but I have the same problem. can anybody help me with this transaction?

your fee so low

He paid less than 40 Sat/B as the fee. Still it got confirmed! I guess it took 6 days for the transaction to get confirmed. But it was a bargain considering the fact that I paid around 260Sat/B for my last transfer.

Ideally, there should be an option to add the tx fee, if the transaction goes unconfirmed for 5-6 days.

If you decided to use paid services, you might consider mine, I'll charge $20 for this as the bytes size is large.
Probably having a faster chance to get it confirmed compare to the other paid services.

At this point, your only options are to either use the pay service at viabtc.com... (or the pushtx.btc.com)

or if you own the address (1Mfvne1x62nAiZtBEbrwBQsvtyiCssM346) that got the dust output of 0.000009 BTC, you can try and use that particular UTXO to execute a "Child Pays For Parent" transaction and use BIG fee so the average fee for both your transactions ends up being at or over the recommended fees (currently ~350 sats/byte)

Given your first transaction was 2440 bytes... and the next transaction will need at least 2 inputs your total combined size is going to end up being at least 2780 bytes. Your total fee for this would need to be 2780 * 350 = 973000 sats = 0.00973000 BTC, you've already paid 0.00090080... which brings it down to "only" 882920 sats or 0.00882920 as a MINIMUM.

You may as well just pay ViaBTC the 0.01 BTC and let them deal with it Tongue

my fee enough for viabtc accelerator. but when i try to accelerate a transaction, i get a message "transaction does not exist".

I thought it was only saying that when any/all of your inputs weren't confirmed...

Usually viabtc says a transaction doesn't exist if blocktrail's explorer says a transaction contains dust.

https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/tx/70c5e794f7c6f447d55db0ca01a24cfacf3753269a121ad8c9d597da17a78a46

One of the outputs in his transaction is 0.000009 BTC. That's definitely dust.

thanks so much mate for your fast help!

11c1242f793e5dddad25d6e44fa0dff73b8beec5525fe740d64b802f59cecb93 already got cofirmed!  Grin

i checked the second remaining transaction on VIABTC.COM some minutes ago and i dont get the "Transaction does not exist" error anymore - now clear to me because the previous unconfirmed TX got confirmed thanks to your help! i got an "Acceleration succeeded" status when submitting it to the last full hour at VIABTC.COM - nice...  Cheesy
Glad to be able to help. Smiley
just out of curiosity: how did you re-broadcast the transactions and if you used VIABTC.COM for re-broadcasting, which transactions (+ order) did you submit to resolve the previous unconfirmed transaction?! like i wrote: i got "Transaction does not exist" on every TX i tried...

thanks again and best greets,

-- erik
I saw that the transaction should have been propagated through several blockexplorers and they aren't. Hence I took the raw transaction and submitted it to coinb.in/#broadcast to broadcast it again. By doing so, the transaction would be sent across the network and those without this transaction would put it in their mempool. The reason why ViaBTC said that the transaction didn't exist is because it wasn't well propagated. I broadcasted your first transaction (11c1242f793e5dddad25d6e44fa0dff73b8beec5525fe740d64b802f59cecb93) before your second (b178e3ece2bea76027a34a5e5249843bb40fa1bd0774aeec0a9bb45ab0edc88e) since the second transaction cannot confirm before your first. I would strongly advise you to use a desktop wallet like Electrum. Blockchain.info is too poorly designed.

You can get the raw transaction through a node or https://blockchain.info/tx/[TXID HERE]?format=hex. Replace the TXID accordingly.

I've just rebroadcasted both of the transaction for you. It appears that the transaction wasn't propagated through the network very well and that is likely the reason why ViaBTC cannot see your transaction.

Most of us aren't miners so we can't really help you. If it is of great importance, you can contact macbook-air or quickseller to help you to prioritise your transaction as they have access to the mempool of a pool. Until then, you should submit your transaction on ViaBTC every hour. 11c1242f793e5dddad25d6e44fa0dff73b8beec5525fe740d64b802f59cecb93 has to confirm first.

hi all,

i got two quite important transactions stuck in the blockchain for around 6 days now... i tried to speed up the confirmation-process with the accelerator from VIABTC.COM, but all i get is: "Transaction does not exist" on both transactions.

https://blockchain.info/tx/11c1242f793e5dddad25d6e44fa0dff73b8beec5525fe740d64b802f59cecb93

https://blockchain.info/tx/b178e3ece2bea76027a34a5e5249843bb40fa1bd0774aeec0a9bb45ab0edc88e

could any of you experienced BTC guys give me some advice/support regarding whats going on and how to solve this?!

thanks for any help in advance,

-- erik

EDIT:
1.) forgot to mention that im using the blockchain.info webwallet.
2.) i did really RTFM and know that the "Transaction does not exist" response on VIABTC.COM is caused by still unconfirmed previous transactions - but i cant find them (or know where to look exactly) to confirm them first.
3.) i know that one of this two transactions got sent with a quite low fee by mistake (root of most evil at the moment) but the second one got sent with the recommended fee from bitcoinfees.21.co...

please help!
