So, really? I've been waiting for Gox to die since august, and they had to do so when I was away?! I missed all the drama and speculations on what was going on!! Cry

Sorry you had to miss it. Here's a vid of what roughly happened to Gox users (NSFW,humor).. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pM_tUK8EQKs
I was hoping that Hitler will chop off mark's head till the very end.. but it didn't happened .. !

Okay, let me get this straight; I left on a two weeks vacation to Thailand bringing no computer or smartphone or anything that's able to connect to internet with me. That virtually meant I had no idea of what was going on in the world (both the bitcoin and the real one). Anyway a few days ago I was lying on my bed at a hotel in Bangkok zapping through TV-channels either showing German or French reports from Ukraine (I didn't really know what they said since I don't speak german and my french, yeah, c'est ne pas tres bien), or a really weird thai comedy show (I think it was comedy anyway). Suddenly I got to CNN, boring, so I changed to the next channel when I realized what the CNN headline said: Mt.Gox has died (or something like that, might have been something about bankruptcy too). I suddenly felt the adrenaline rush through my veins and I realized I had to visit bitcointalk when I realized I had no gadgets that could connect to the internet.
So, really? I've been waiting for Gox to die since august, and they had to do so when I was away?! I missed all the drama and speculations on what was going on!! Cry
Therefore, I would like to kindly request from everyone reading this that if you ever decide to run a really big bitcoin exchange and also decides to declare it bankrupt; Please make sure I am home then.
Thanks in advance.
I was reading this whole topic like every other sad story of losing btc in Gox till the end and I was like  ohh he didn't lost anything and quite happy with gox dying ..!

I would've gladly switched with you. Watching BTC crash because that ass couldn't just admit he got robbed and chose to live in lie for years. He even tried to make us pity him by saying that he was under a lot of stress and gained weight. Pathetic!

Did you bang any ladyboys in thailand and pay them in bitcoin?
Nope. Not into that stuff.

All you missed was Mark's frappuchino and a two man protest.
I think I saw that on CNN.
