Your contest will last till July 19 so I guess you won't launch your mainnet version before this date. Do you have already an ETA for the launch of the final version? It will be before the end of summer? Because it seems to be a little bit complicated to get UBucks just for placing fake bets(we need to register on discord and to claim them there as I understand). Maybe you could also give them here to people leaving their address here or through PM? There are only few full decentralized sportsbooks up to now, and they only provide few bets on few sports unfortunately, so I think Ubet can be really successful.

It was a great opportunity to try a betting platform that works with Web3 features through the review campaigns that they launched a few days ago, since the options offered by Ubet are diverse and very similar to their counterparts on well-known platforms, despite the disruption that occurred to me to be able to understand how deposits and withdrawals work and place bets. This is arguably the most complicated point and will not be accessible to everyone, especially beginners and those with little experience with Web3 applications.
The experience was really wonderful and smooth but I also believe that it is important to work on continuing to develop the platform by adding more sports and more betting options, which will ensure greater chances of success in a market full of competitors.

The topic is still published, and there are really those who are trying to participate, and of course they are all new accounts.
I am surprised at the poor choice of method and pricing for doing this, even though the project deals with one of the best campaign managers on the Sujonali forum. I don't think he was consulted before doing this which his reputation proves efficient.

The amount of 10 dollars or even 20 does not represent anything if you are looking for an honest dialogue for half an hour, without considering the use of video, which cannot be evaluated at a fixed price at all, since it affects the direct privacy of individuals.

The project looks promising, and I hope that they will be able to pass these stages more efficiently.

I was also curious about the anonymity part and the video thing, I think they might actually record the video since they are conducting a research study and will probably need all the answers they have got from the interviews conducted, so basically, there is no anonymity in it apart from that your video or anything will only stay with them if they are honest.

About the payment part, they should probably increase that and have a limit available for interviews, like conducting interviews with just 10 people paying $20 each, etc. That would probably look better and might attract better users for the interviews.

There’s no data related on the actual launch based on their roadmap which the team just shared few post above https://www.ubetsports.io/who-we-are. Maybe their launch schedule is based on the results of this beta test trial that they are doing right now. They are still adding more sports in the sportsbook one after another so I believe they launch the actual sportsbook once they are already finished on the upgrade of essential feature of the game.

This is a hard task since they are doing this manually in able to match it with smart contract. Probably we can see full functionality of this casino on the last quarter of the year since the road map stated the completion of adding sports on the sportsbook.

Even with esports, they still haven't got it yet and that's due to them being in the beta phase and it's understandable.

The platform is still in testnet phase. So It's normal if you will miss something. Hopefully they will prepare everything + add as much as game they can before launching the mainnet.

Hello team, I participate on the tournament through the discord then I just saw this form https://www.ubetsports.io/sportsbook-tournaments for tournament registration. Is joining on the discord tournament is different on this tournament?

Also there’s a note that registration is only open before May 15 but the form is still available until now for late registration. I’m asking whether submission of application on the registration page is still possible? I already made a couple of successful bet on the casino for my review and I hope that my bets will be eligible for tournament. I thought the discord tournament registration is enough to enter though.

Currently, our platform (testnet.ubet.exchange) is in beta, and it is on testnet. Also, we are in the process of getting a sports betting license.

Just to clarify a few points:
We are not a casino, we don’t have any slot machines or card games.
Different jurisdictions have different rules. We are definitely restricting geolocations on countries that require KYC when we go to mainnet.
Because UBET platform is decentralized and it is non-custodial. This means that you are holding your own money, we are not taking any of your money. Tiers of Decentralization: Where does UBET Sports stand?

We often hear about the buzzword "decentralization," especially from crypto and blockchain projects. Indeed, a “decentralized project” or “dApp” transforms into a “web3 project” at some point, and as I recall, it might have been the time when NFTs were popular. I wonder whether this was because NFT projects were less decentralized and weighed more towards exclusivity and community.

At UBET Sports, we use the two terms interchangeably, yet we prefer "decentralization" over "web3." We feel that decentralization has a more profound philosophy, where the blockchain started with the ideology of rebelling against centralized authorities. If the world had started as a decentralized system, maybe the community would have advocated more for centralization. Just to be clear, we are not advocating for one side and believe that both have pros and cons. However, when it comes to sports betting, we stand on the side of decentralization!

Having a fully decentralized app (DApp) is ideal. What does this mean? A couple of requirements that we can think of are:


(A) Blockchains must be decentralized.
I.e., the consensus algorithm must be fair, and equity needs to be dispersed.

(B) Non-custodial
 i.e., users connect to the blockchain directly using their wallet, and transactions happen directly on the blockchain.

(C) The computations for your applications are on-chain.

(D) The smart contract interacts with world data through oracles.

(F) Initial deployment needs to remain unbiased or anonymous.


Satisfying all of the above isn't an easy process. Developing an algorithm for a dApp can often be more challenging than for regular apps. For example, imagine dealing poker hands without a dealer in a fair way. Let's say we define tiers for decentralization based on the satisfaction of the above properties, and then work towards creating a complete dApp.



So how about UBET Sports?

Our platform is now on the Mumbai testnet but will be on Polygon soon! Of course, it is non-custodial. You can connect to UBET smart contracts using MetaMask, Trust Wallet, and Magic Link (email sign-up). Unlike other web3 sports betting platforms where the fixed odds are determined internally (outside of a blockchain), UBET leverages its own AMM to determine the odds within the blockchain. Remember that the code for smart contracts deployed on blockchains are available to the public! Together, this demonstrates the transparency of the internal processes of the platform and ensures the integrity of the UBET sportsbook.

Currently, the market creations are triggered internally to deploy the smart contracts, and the settlement results are pushed to smart contracts from outside of blockchain. Nevertheless, we hope to eventually have a sports oracle to trigger market creation and settlements!

The platform will evolve into an open sports betting system that is secure and transparent to users. The bettors can just enjoy themselves without worrying about sportsbook authorities like

1. Banning
2. Bet limits
3. Poor Odds / Prices
4. Poor product experience, especially when live betting
5. Slow payout process

Currently, the following things happen on-chain: determining the odds (using AMM), betting transactions, and having non-custodial services. Regarding market creations, we deploy the markets to the blockchain and help settle smart contracts by adding game results ourselves. Using the Oracle service is on our TODO list. We will probably start by checking sports betting results with multiple providers. Chainlink is expensive, but they have decentralized oracles for sports betting available. Also, Umbrella Network is working towards adding sports betting settlements. We appreciate you showing your interest and your wish for us to build it right!

You skipped or avoided to answer important question I asked about kyc verification on your website, so if you can please write your answer about that.

I don't understand how everything works with your UBCKS tokens but I see risks in using only them and USDC for gambling on your website.
You or someone else could manipulate price of token and make all holdings from players worthless.

I already suspect that usually web3 has to interact with smart contracts. The L2 layer is also good and other suggestions also using the ETH goerli blockhain testnet and BNB BSC, I've tested the game using Matic polygon mumbai, I think everything seems to be working fine it's just that there are a few other questions I might ask later after I'm done testing .  



I think everyone knows that every time they do a test on a particular site or casino it's better to use a special wallet address not a personal wallet that contains our money in it, many cases lose coins in their wallets because they are connected to fraudulent sites or interact with smart contracts, although I also don't trust that, good advice is to use a new wallet for each test because it's much more secure  

How do you create and settle sport betting events in a decentralized manner? Is there a decentralized oracle to facilitate this process? Excited to see another project trying to solve this. As of now, I don't think there is a market leader in this niche, I hope you guys can build it right!

We are currently using Polygon and our testnet is on Mumbai network. We are internally discussing about going to one of L2 layers (with ZK rollup). All the bets go directly to blockchain, so every betting transactions are interacting with smart contracts. We are open to other blockchains too if there are demands

Welcome to the forum mate. The ANN looks good and professional. The information mentioned in the OP are sufficient in order to understand the theme and concept of the sportsbook. The site looks glitchy and messy in the Safari browser of my IOS device. My internet speed is fine, but still I notice slight bugs here. Maybe the site is in beta state, that’s the main reason and hope it will be fixed soon. If currently the site doesn’t accept Bitcoins, then it should be moved to Marketplace(Altcoins) section. As this section of the forum belongs to the sites which accepts Bitcoins.

This is a big mess. How come they did not rectify this before coming for a beta test or were they not aware of it? I think they should have done the alpha test internally before rooting for a beta test so as to narrow down their errors if detected by the testers.

With this discovery then it means that one's account is not safe  if linked. So therefore, I would advise anyone trying to take part in the beta test should do that at his or her own safety. Do not use your account in which you have   funds in. Create a fresh new account for the beta test while waiting for the results.

I try opening the beta version on my phone and the look is awful. The website is not compatible on small screen and the odds is still not properly place. How come you manage to move forward in beta test without fixing this minor issues on Alpha test.

I checked testnet website and I dont see any option for betting with Bitcoin on your website, betting can only be done with connected metamask or magic wallet.
If there is no kyc verification when using Ubet I could understand this, but I prefer using Bitcoin instead of altcoins and tokens.
Can you confirm if there are any play to add BTC and say more about verification registration?

Sports betting sites using web3 seems interesting to test it, just connect wallet only to play and bet, this is what is needed for the community for each site can provide a test net for people to try your site first after they feel confident and it is working properly you can release the official site, I will try it later it happens that I am interested in sports betting, especially football
