Ok, read this post as well about someone who had a similar problem (with different cards) https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/gigabyte-ga-h110-d3a-not-detecting-all-gpus-read-all-google-search-articles-2672656

Apparently for this board there is a sequence of plugging, cmos rests, unplugging and plugging and rebooting again in order to get all 6 cards to be detected, will try that later on when my spare set of risers arrive

Would just like the ask the community, suppose using a different board, I know windows has known problems or difficulties when trying to run multiple GPUs (more then 5-6 etc)

For linux, is plugging 12x AMD cards going to be an issue or should it run just fine without any messy workarounds? I'm currently running a few 12x nvidia GPU ubuntu rigs without any issues.. literally just install driver and cuda, run miner and go.. am new to AMD cards hehehe..

Hi all,

Not sure if this is a common problem, currently running 6x rx570 on a gigabyte h110-d3a, 4gb ram, 32gb sad, pau 1350w, ubuntu 16.04, amdgpu-pro 17.40

Not sure exactly what is the issue but no matter what i do i cannot get ubuntu to detect the 6th card, it can only ever detect 5 cards

Swapped risers and cards all around, the moment any of the working 5 cards is removed, the previously undetected 6th card will be detected and work as per normal. It does not matter which card or riser i use.. if it was not detected, removing any of the other cards from the board will make it work after booting up

What could be the issue, power supply having trouble powering 6 cards? Motherboard faulty? Driver issue? Don't think is the riser or GPU issue as i have tested each individually and it can mine without issues..

Thanks!
