Bayern Munich performance at the moment has a lot to do with the coaching pattern of tuchel,  the previous guy that had these job was not doing bad, I mean Julian Nagelsmann, the  young man was doing quite well and he was learning on the the job as least to coach a big club like Bayern, I wonder why Bayern Munich management hard to relieve him off his duties.
Looking at the domestic League,  Bayern Leverkusen are likely to win the bundesliga this season, and on the champions League I don't see Bayern Munich giving much surprising results.

When it comes to UCL games, Napoli seems weak enough to even compete matches with mediocre teams, at this current condition they found themselves, I would say the team's finish and this new coach might try out and work some miracle tasks for the team. I feared for the future of Napoli because they're having difficulties in Seria A matches, they failed to subscribe for big winnings but I guess it's mere phase and it will pass. While Napoli are recording poor results in matches, the club's president, Aurelio De Laurentiis is busy scouting more solutions to the team's present devastating conditions.

I feel that Bayern Munich losing to Lazio in the first leg was just as a result of overconfidence from Bayern Munich because Bayern know quite well that they are stronger than Lazio so they just didn't apply much effort like that and considering the fact that Lazio was at home also gave them more confidence but I believe that Bayern Munich will retaliate the defeat when they meet in the returning leg at Bayern Munich home ground.

Basically, Harry Kane have been the goal scoring machine for Bayern Munich so it wouldn't be a surprise if he scores in their returning match against Lazio. If Lazio would have a chance of withstanding Bayern Munich's pressure then they have to play defensive attack because if they focus only in the defense alone they might be giving Bayern Munich the opportunity to always have the ball in their possession at their own half so being defensive and forward would help Lazio a little bit but obviously, I don't see Lazio having any chance of standing Bayern Munich.

Even though Xavi once said that if Barcelona managed to win the Champions League, he would stick to his decision, namely to resign at the end of the season, but this would not improve Barcelona's performance in the Champions League. Barcelona's current performance is not strong enough to compete in the Champions League, as you said, Barcelona is not good in defense, midfield and front line. This is different from favorite teams such as Real Madrid, Man City, PSG and Bayern Munich which have squad depth that is almost the same in all lines.

The problems currently facing Barcelona are very complete, apart from their declining performance, their internal affairs are also not good. With the news that Xavi wants to decide to leave Barcelona at the end of this season, of course the Barcelona dressing room is not very conducive. With conditions like this, Barcelona will not be favored to win the Champions League title this season. However, Barcelona will qualify for the 8th round of the Champions League, their chances are very big because the second leg against Napoli will be played at Camp Nou, they only need to win by one goal difference to qualify.

Some how I almost felt like the recent performance of Bayern Munich has a link with probably wanting the coach sacked, because the coach will only remain in the team if he's performing well enough except he decides to leave amidst his good performance probably for reason best known to him. I'm of this opinion because this isn't the first season of tuchel in Bayern Munich and he has won the league title with this same team before so it's not something that's beyond his ability or such that he hasn't been able to achieve before, currently there's no report of any key player been injured or absent in the team so then why will the team suffer this much recently meanwhile earlier this season they were doing much better.

Bayern Munich is definitely going to lose the title this season but then if tuchel is given some more time just for the benefits of doubts I think he can rebuild and still get the team back in form but sadly the rumors of him been sacked by the end of the season is really strong and then I don't know how well it will play out but then he's still got something he can achieve with the team even if not this season but subsequently.

Bayern and Arsenal had the same fate in the first leg of the last 16 of the Champions League, having to score 2 goals to catch up, an absolute requirement to qualify for the quarter finals. The two teams will play at home, where the chances of them qualifying are predicted to still be quite open, but there is no guarantee that Bayern and Arsenal can turn things around.

Dortmund and Barcelona are also the teams that are more favored to qualify than their opponents, fortunately these two teams do not have to work harder to ensure their position, a score of 1-0 is enough as a requirement to be in the next round. There is also no guarantee or ease of qualifying, It is possible that both teams will fall early.

Madrid, Man City and PSG will play it safe, Three teams that in my opinion will not force their coach to field the best squad, because they already have a superior goal deficit, and their status is the more favored team. A match that is difficult to predict is the match between Inter Versus ATM, even though Inter were Finalists last Season, I think ATM has the power to determine fate until the Penalty shootout.

I agree that just doing it extra time is more than enough, there is really no need for anything more, but at the same time you are playing extra time for a bit longer, at someone's home. So, let's say your team wins 1-0 at home, then you go away and you lose 1-0 for the 90 minute game, then there will be 30 more minutes played, at the other teams home, so that made it a little bit different. I always suggested, a third game .

I know that sounds silly, and would make things quite hard to schedule, but it also means more TV income, more ads, more ticket sales, more merchandise sales, all around more money in the world football that needs it a lot. Nobody will even attempt that for sure, but that really does sound like a good one.

I like neither Barcelona nor Napoli this season. But honestly considering how things went in the first leg Barcelona have quite more chance to reach the quarter finals. Napoli just couldn't even play properly in a home match. They should be grateful for not losing by a big score difference. If for example Manchester City were in Barcelona's place I can't imagine the result.

Napoli are really bad after Spalletti's leaving.    They couldn't even do anything against a Barcelona with the worst defending I have ever seen from them in a season. Do any of you still expect Napoli to advance to quarter finals?

The only returning leg game with a guaranteed winner is Manchester City vs. Copenhagen. Copenhagen has come a long way, and I believe they have done their best to get to this point, and they deserve all of the credit for their efforts. They can't simply beat Manchester City; that's the fact of the game; they're superior and more powerful in every way they can imagine. Perhaps if they had a smaller team, they could have passed through, but for Manchester City, it is impossible to win and advance to the Champions League quarterfinals.

The remaining games are still difficult to predict, with the exception of Real Madrid, which I believe will qualify without much difficulty against Leipzig. However, Arsenal and Bayern Munich require two or more goals to advance to the next round of the competition, and their opponents will not make it easy for them to score those two goals without attempting to equalise the goals again. The game is still very competitive, and only the better and most productive team from the second leg games will advance to the quarterfinals.

I don't see much chance for Barcelona to win the Champions League. Barcelona do not have the kind of wins and performances needed to win the Champions League trophy at the moment. When every position of a team is strong then good performance will come from that team but Barcelona is not strong in every position. Barcelona doesn't have a great finisher like Real Madrid, Barcelona doesn't have a good quality defender and Barcelona doesn't have a good quality midfielder, with so many weaknesses, it will definitely not be easy to do well in a tournament like the Champions League. Manchester City Real Madrid Bayern Munich are far behind in their preparations for the Champions League so this season is definitely going to be a tough season for Barcelona.

The performance of Bayern Munich lately gives everyone who's a fan a serious concern because they aren't getting better in performance and going with their last performance against Lazio in the first leg, Bayern Munich should progress easily with the one goal down that's if it was the team of Bayern Munich of before but based on their current form now it is very easy for them to be defeated by Lazio andcit is still easy for them to progress against Lazio because the Lazio team may have a goal advantage over Bayern Munich but they are not having a good performance this season too.

It seems difficult to see that Bayern Munich will be eliminated in the second leg, because if we analyze the game and also the strength of the two teams in the first leg, actually Lazio was just lucky to get the penalty goal in the 69th minute, indeed lazio in that match played very well  but throughout the match we could see how pressured Lazio was due to the aggressiveness of Bayern Munich game and even Bayern Munich managed to dominate the match even though in the end their attack line looked dull, it is not wrong to expect Bayern Munich to lose in the second leg but at least there is a strong reason to We all choose the option that Bayern Munich loses in betting, from existing experience we can see that teams like Bayern Munich often come back in the second leg, especially when they play at home, f course I don't see if there is a strong reason that Bayern Munich will be eliminated by Lazio in the second leg.


It is reported that Davies has reached an agreement with Madrid verbally, but so far we have not found confirmation from Munich about this, even if Davies will join Madrid next season of course as a professional footballer he will play wholeheartedly despite all the rumors, apart from that, with showing his ability 100% in every match will of course make Madrid even more confident in recruiting him and maybe he will even be the main choice for Ancelotti to occupy the left back position in the new era Galacticos squad that Ancelotti is forming at the moment.

Great as a player, of course, does not guarantee that he will also be great when he becomes a coach. So yes, at this moment at least Barcelona is still seen as better than Napoli, because of the squad factor they have. Because after all, Barcelona basically has a squad that has better quality with Napoli's squad, with this factor, at least Barcelona will still have a chance to qualify for the quarter-finals. But yes, the chance Barcelona has is at least because of the squad factor it has and not about their coach. Since Barcelona and Napoli where using the same tactics to played each other in their first leg that lead to draw  game 1:1 and, the two coach was not happy the way the game ended which they will surely use the second leg to determine the strong team in this season because there must be a winner in their second leg game.

 It happen like that sometimes, for a strong team to lose against weak team by mistake but despite Napoli draw with Cagliari doesn't mean they will give Barcelona chance to eliminate them from this tournament than to introduce new tactics that will make them to achieve the victory.

Napoli's problems arose after their coach last season, Luciano Spalletti, did not renew his contract at Napoli. And this is because there is a strong reason that makes sense. And also because of some problems he had with the club owner. (Sourch)
And yes, it was a nightmare for the club. Because after making two coaching changes up to now, Napoli is actually getting weaker. So I am also sure that Barcelona will be the one to successfully qualify for the next stage. And maybe Napoli this season in the UCL will only reach the round of 16.

And our suspicions are also strengthened by Napoli's poor results against Cagliari. Meanwhile, Barcelona actually experienced another increase in their goal productivity because they managed to beat Getafe in Laliga with a big score of 4-0. So in the second leg, maybe Napoli could also experience defeat, even if it is by a narrow score. And will lead Barcelona to qualify for the quarter-finals.

Don't knock a team that's already down. Barcelona have as much chance to win this seasons UCL as Napoli or Dortmund do. They are not playing exciting football and cannot complete talent wise to the likes of Madrid, City or even out of form Bayern.

Maybe next two seasons they can compete for Europe's top league.

The so much hope you have in this teams that will win the champions league is very surprising to me. Why not feel the same way for Bayern Munich too. Before now, Bayern Munich was amongst the potentials that will win the champions league trophy but as time goes on, their performance in the domestic league got declined and people now think they can’t be a contender for the champions league trophy anymore.

Their weak performance in the league and their poor performance in the first leg of the Champions League isn’t enough to conclude that they will not make it to the next round of the champions league or won’t be a title contender this season. Those leagues differ and they will do anything in order to have a good record in the Champions League this season just like they’ve been doing it prior seasons.

You are right, It is very risky to play only defensive strategy against the attacking team. But Lazio have no other option. Lazio is not a strong team. They were very lucky to win the first leg match. If luck wasn't on Lazio's side, they wouldn't have won against Bayern Munich. Their overall performance was not good either.



From these statistics it is easy to understand that Munich's performance was better than Lazio's. Munich's attacking players missed several easy chances. Otherwise, Lazio could not have won the match



We have seen many times in the past on the Champions League platform that Bayern Munich and Real Madrid teams have made a great comeback in the second leg after poor performances in the first leg. We expect Bayern Munich to make a comeback this season as well. Because with Bayern Munich in the Champions League, the Champions League will become more competitive. This group is very strong. Munich is behind by only 1 goal. Hopefully the boys from Munich will not disappoint us in the second leg match. I especially want to see a great performance from Harry Kane.

everything is right, but I am sorry to say, Barcelona will surely make us meatballs in the return match with Napoli, for sure
they drew with Cagliari, not exactly a very strong team, they cant always count on Victor magic, it doesnt work that way in team games, in my opinion

But i would like to see bayern to be eliminated even early. It will be quite entertaining to see lazio goes to the further stage  im sure people will hate me coz majority of them will obviously put their bet on bayern. im still wondering whether davies will be still motivated caused by he has reached pre agreement to join in real madrid end of season.

I prefer interimlan. City and madrid are still unstable but milan is kinda different. This club is having so many old players but it's the most balanced team in UCL right now. Intermilan gone to the final last season and it will happen again soon.

You forgot to put barcelona which is still stand a chance to get UCL this season.
