This aspect of Real Madrid really amazes me. It is a very difficult match in La Liga. It is very strange that they did not win the league but became UCL champions, but when it comes to difficult tournaments, Real Madrid plays differently.

One person I respect much in the Real Madrid squad is their fatherly figure coach - Ancelotti. He is a man of wisdom and experience and he uses both as his unconquered armour. How he blends the strength of the young players with experience of the old players to produce unique results amazes me. Gradually, he has gotten a consistently good squad such that the young ones can do what we know about Real Madrid.
Currently that many players are injured but the effect is not felt. Real Madrid is obviously a strong contender of the champions league and they can win it, especially as the defending champion which is Manchester city has dropped two steps from the last season form.

In my opinion, Real Madrid is still quite consistent in Laliga, even though they are not at the top of the Laliga standings now, but they have only experienced 1 defeat and that doesn't really affect Real Madrid, but in the UCL, Real Madrid is still the team that is most feared by any team and In the group stage, Real Madrid was able to achieve perfect points without losing or drawing. Real Madrid is still much better than Barcelona and Man City, they can be said to be less consistent, Man City has experienced a decline several times because key players are missing, you can see it in the EPL standings while Barcelona also feels the same thing in Laliga, so in the UCL we will see later a team that fought with all their might even though their condition was not very stable in the domestic league.

The Real Madrid team is very strong this season as well. However, their attack is quite weak. Rodrygo and Vini's performances are not regular. However, with a strong midfield, Madrid have been able to produce good results in every match. Especially Bellingham, Modrich and Toni Kroos are playing well in every match. If Madrid manage to add Mbappe to the squad in the winter transfer window then I'd say Real Madrid are heavy favorites to win the Champions League title this season.

Manchester City have a strong squad. However, in the last few matches of the Premier League, we have seen Manchester City's performance quite erratic. It is not possible to win the Champions League title if such an irregular performance. Arsenal and Barcelona may also want to do well in the Champions League. However, there are several weaknesses in their squad.

Irrespective of there performance last season there rivals was not much that was why they were able to go that far and wining the champions League but however considering there rivals this season it Will be very difficult for them on this season to display what they did last season because so many strong team are also striving for the champions League trophy so for now we can only predict the clubs that stands on a higher chance of wining the league but it will be very difficult to no the exact team that can win the champions League.

Although if Manchester City would have use the kind of performance they had last season to this season it would have helped them a lot because there last season they were moving in accordance with all the leagues they were playing especially there premier they won the premier League and the champions league at the same time, so if they had come back to this season with that performance they would eventually win the go far but it was quite unfortunate for them this season because they seem a bit poor in performance.

It's Dortmund for me in this game.

This is of course not a guaranteed thing but we could always end up with a good PSG win and they may finally get that UCL title they always wanted, that's an important situation. I believe that there is still some time left to see, but I like their current roster, they do look like a good team and they do look like they may do something about it as well.

PSG has had top players recently and they couldn't do anything special to win the Champions league. If they didn't win it when the likes of Messi and others were there. So I don't really see any magic that this current squad they have can win the champoins league this season. Maybe in the future they will win but not now as they are not yet ready.

That was the reason why Paris Saint-German signed Messi and they failed to win the Champions League. Maybe Paris Saint-German is not destined to win the Uefa Champions League in this era because PSG has had a very good squad in the past years who were supposed to win the Uefa Champions League but they did not.

In the first leg PSV is more favored than Dortmund but I think it's just a home consideration and if Dortmund can make this first leg end in a draw then Dortmund's move in the second leg will be easier because competing at home should give a different advantage and spirit.
And they really benefited from meeting PSV, it would be a different story if they met a team that was stronger than PSV but that doesn't mean PSV doesn't have a chance to win and it's still 50/50.
In the 16th round, the matches Inter Milan vs Atletico Madrid and also Porto vs Arsenal will be very tight in my opinion and this is quite difficult to predict who will advance to the quarterfinals.

Dortmund's standard is considerably high right now compared with other team like PSV. I was seeing dortmund as equal to the bayern munich or leverkusen. I don't think people will consider dortmund as a weak team.
PSV was performing so poorly in the group stage while dortmund was able to become a winner in the most difficult group of UCL this season. Im also feeling confident to take terzic's squad compared to the PSV. The result from this match can be predicted easily.

Terzic's squad was more than PSG in everything. Any aspects owned by dortmund is far better than PSV. PSV was struggling during the group stage and it was not making me feel confidence to pick it.
A smart bettor will not be missing easy money for sure. PSV will not able to win against dortmund in all of legs. Im doubting PSV to perform even better compared when it was still playing in the group stage.

Unless a miracle will come for PSV and it will able to beat dortmund dramatically.

Therefore, in this round, Dortmund have to fight hard because this match will be held at PSV headquarters, precisely in the Eredivisie, which will definitely be quite an interesting match. PSV has appeared consistent in the domestic league and has not lost while Dortmund is not very consistent in the Bundesliga. PSV cannot be underestimated, sometimes clubs that are underestimated can perform impressively against big European league clubs. I think Dortmund will prepare this round very carefully, especially in the 1st leg, this might be a little tough for Dortmund.

Manchester City luckily got an easy opponent for a Round of 16 because they will meet one of weakest teams in this round, Copenhagen.
