Categorizing Ten Hag as one of the worst coaches for Manchester United may not be accurate, but I don't think Ten Hag is one of the most successful. Ten Hag had an incredible season last season with Manchester United, as a result Ten Hag managed to get Manchester United through to the group stage of the Champions League this season. But not so in his second season, he failed to live up to many expectations and his team fell apart.
Until tomorrow and beyond, money doesn't guarantee everything is fine for the club. PSG has spent a lot of money to win the Champions League title, yet they still failed despite reaching the final a few seasons ago. Manchester United needed big changes including getting the club acquired by new investors, but that still failed when the Glazer family still refused to do so.
If Erik Ten Hag is categorized as a bad coach then the previous season would not have been in the Champions League but this time it was a failure that he led his team, maybe you are right, there are divisions in the team so it is difficult for Man United to be solid again. I think Erik Ten Hag's philosophy is too strict and this is not comfortable for the players or anything else, this problem is not so detailed it will remain what is rumored we are quite sure there are divisions at his club now.
Maybe after Man United was acquired, things will change? However, this did not happen Glazer wanted a higher price and potential new investors did not want to buy a club that was too expensive, the same thing happened with Chelsea, who spent a lot of money investing in players, but in fact it did not meet the club owner's expectations.
Of course I'm not necessarily saying that Manchester United would be better if acquired by another owner, but it's just a good option for the team if it wants to grow. PSG, Manchester City and Newcastle are 3 teams that have benefited from having Arab investors as owners, so it is another way for the club to improve.
You are right, Chelsea and some other teams have also spent a lot of money on players, but they haven't gotten anything like what they want. Ten Hag is increasingly being doubted and fans don't have much respect for him anymore. I think this is a natural thing considering that Manchester United is a team that has a big history in the Premier League.

UCL competition is the top tournament in the world of European football. Manchester United exits the UEFA Champions League in a disgraceful act and this have become the regular routine for the Red Devils. They don't stand in good position to qualify for any significant spot, always relying on their main player's and this is crucially bad news. Erik Ten Hag have failed the fans and the club, he doesn't sits balance to take his club to the next level, he just have instructs his club on becoming a top one because everyone keen on waiting for the firing Red Devils in past decades.
This may sound unpleasant to Ten Hag, but the failure of a team to achieve its best performance is the coach's responsibility. Ten Hag has good abilities in managing a team, but when there is a lot of pressure on his shoulders then I think his job will become even more difficult.
