Bispings face doesn't look like he won the fight but the judges give him the nod. Respect to Hendo for giving his all for hisnlast fight but it could have been a better one if he won this match. I was waiting for a knock down but Bisping came prepared I guess.

Yes. That shows that Bisping has to shut his mouth when trying to make comments about Dan Henderson. Bisping's pride is still not restored after 2 fights with him. Also consider the fact that he was fighting a 46 year old man. That made him look less of a champion in my view. There was also an article written in the news that Bisping had to go to the hospital after the fight. He could not go and join the post fight conference.

It's a shame if Bisping lost that fight since it his hometown but Hendo is kinda right if its going to be based on who's face is more smashed then Hendo won the fight hands down but this is not a beauty contest. Judges may have seen something that us spectators dont consider as a point for Bisping.

What a great main event! Credit to both Bisping and Henderson, as they gave it their all, and produced one of the better championship fights of the year. Henderson showed that he still has the power to KO anyone in the division, despite his old age, and Bisping showed that he has great heart to survive knockdowns and can come back to win the fight. I thought that it was a good decision with Bisping winning the later rounds to get a close decision win, but he will be the underdog in upcoming championship fights against the top of the UFC middleweight division (Weidman, Romero, Souza).

Henderson is a great fighter but at the age of 49 I'm not surprised to see Bisping win. It's time for Henderson to retire but he can be proud of his long career.

He should definitely retire. I'm almost 40 now and I feel sore after a round of golf
let alone trying to fight someone in a cage lol.

At age 46 Dan Henderson still showed us he can still fight. Michael Bisping should be embarrassed for taking on a fight with an old man. Grin

As for Henderson's right hand power it is still there but it is not like it was used to years ago. The "H-Bomb" is not as strong anymore. If it was Bisping would have been knocked out again.

in my opinion the H bomb is still strong and can knock anyone out,but Bisping was better conditioned and prepared for the battle and the mental toughness he showcased is outstanding, and Bisping usually performs really well in his home country

Dan Henderson is 46 years of age and not 49 Grin and he has announced his retirement from MMA,Dan is already a legend in the sport but i wanted him to win the championship before retirement, what ever it is it was a wonderful match and Bisping showed his toughness while taking his punches.

Dan henderson and michael bisping fought a classic slug fest and michael bisping came out victorious in the end, michael bisping is one tough fighter who refuses to loose in front of his home crowd as expected Gegard Mousasi defeated vitor belford but the surprise for me was Jimi Manuwa defeating Ovince Saint Preux ,i am yet to watch all the match but it looks like it was a good card for the British audience.

I would bet on old boy Dan in this one. If 46 year old Dan Henderson beats Bisping it would mean that he really is not doing this for money alone.
It is wide known that Dan's a legend it would be huge waste if would end his career with a loss.

For sure.  Henderson is fighting for his legacy, this is not like the other fights where he just cashes his check.  I would expect that in paper Bisping has the edge but when that fight begins I think it will be a different story.  Henderson wants this more than Bisping does.  And Bisping could still have his doubts vs Henderson despite what he says regarding his confidence coming in this fight.
Henderson is a legend of the sport ,you cannot say that one person wants to win the fight more than the other person, this is a contact sport and anything can happen on any given day, remember Bisping wanted this fight against Henderson and so both will be equally prepared for the fight and the mental toughness will decide who will be winning the match.

hendo and belfort for the upsets!

gerard musashi is a high level fighter and Belfort does have the power to finish any fight at any given situation, but i expect Gerard musashi and Bisping to win the match.

Bisping will take this, he is a man in form & after finally becoming a champion he will not be defeated just yet.

I expect a KO before the 4th round.

What the hell! Hendo is still fighting? I felt bad for him. Hopefully he won't get hurt. He is old already and deserves to just enjoy his hard work.

Its a sure win so bet to Bisping. Dan Henderson is out of shape, i wonder why Dana still give this guy a fight when he didn't won almost all his fight since last year.
Perhaps because most of the UFC fighters during his time already retire for good. IF Dana can pull out Randy Couture for him, it would be a better match than with Bisping.
Bisping wanted this fight against Henderson and a champion has the power to call matches in the UFC,Bisping had  a terrible loss at UFC 100 was knocked out and humiliated by Hendo and that knockout was shown as a highlight reel in most of the arena and this was haunting bisping and really wanted to avenge that loss for a long time and called for this fight on becoming the champion

Bisping will take this, he is a man in form & after finally becoming a champion he will not be defeated just yet.

Yes it is really sad that Hendo is still fighting at 46 years of age and hopefully this might be his last match whether he win the championship or not.

@eaLiTy. Ah yes I forgot about that one. I will try to find a replay of the fight. Is Lombard a high ranking fighter? It will not really matter if he is not. At first impression, my bet is for Henderson because I remember his first fight with Bisping. But I need to justify it before I commit any money on him.

Lombard is not ranked as a top ten fighter,he is also declining after accumilating a series of loss he is on the decline,Bisping is a different fighter when he is fighting in his home town, look at his fight against the legend Anderson Silva,Bisping was not ready to surrender and fought his heart out and won the match, consider all this while wagging a bet

thats true, I never really thought about that angle because sometimes fighters at home
have to deal with a lot of distractions and it's actually bad.  With Bisping though he really
feeds off the crowd and it could definitely factor in.

Does anyone here still think that Henderson still has the h-bomb knockout power in his right hand? Because after studying this match up and doing some research I am thinking that without the h-bomb, Bisping is the sure winner. Bisping could be an underrated fighter and Henderson is an overrated one. I would also like everyone to know that Bisping has hever used performance enhancers in his whole MMA career while Henderson has used it for 10 years.

have you seen Henderson knocking out Hector Lombard in his last match, the way in  which he knocked the hell out of Lombard means he still has the power to knock anyone out ,the only problem that does not favour in this match is his age,he is 46 years old  and still fighting at the highest level and that is some balls ,if UFC was clean then it will be a different story altogether for many fighters that i accept.

I was looking at Dan Henderson's twitter for some news and I saw this:

https://champions.co/p/ufc-207-ronda-rousey-dana-white-confirms-great-chance-fight-amanda-nunes/3994470?utm_source=twitter-henderson&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=ufc-207-dana-white-says-theres-a-great-chance-ronda-rousey-will-return-this-year

Apparently Ronda Rousey will come back for UFC207. Im sure a alot of money will be on the bets for her comeback.

Ronda Rousey's come back fight will be an interesting match, just eager to see how she is going to react inside the cage, wanted to know her mental state and confidence level, there are talks that she will be facing the current champ amanda nunes,i would like to see a rematch between Holy Holmes too.

Yep it will be an huge comeback. It seems like it has been years since she fought. I hope she wins again, im sure the odds will be really interesting to bet on. If she loses again im sure her career is over.

Rousey will fight Amanda Nunes?  Man, I can see Rousey's face getting bruised hard here.  She's just not ready to fight a high level striker like Nunes.  I wiser choice would to fight lower tier fighers and try to work her way up again.  I have no idea what here physical condition is and if she still works out and trains but my first impression upon reading that she will fight Nunes is that it's a big risk for her.

Anway back to Bisping and Hendo.  I can see this going to the championship rounds so I think my bet on this is the over 2.5 rounds at 2.05.

I agree on the Nunes / Rousey. I think it hurt Rousey that Nunes beat Tate. I think Rousey would
destroy Tate (again) and get the belt back. I think Nunes is a much tougher task and I'm excited to
see that fight.

This is going to be a close fight. Let us not look solely on Hendo's age. Hendo still have the punching power. It may not be as powerful anymore like the last time he hit Bisping, but still it has power to knock Bisping in the first round. The only disadvantage of Hendo is age, if fight goes to 2nd and 3rd round Hendo might lose his gas.

This is Henderson's last chance to be the UFC champion and i guess he will make full use of it,Bisping is really confident about the match up after his win over Luke and so is the reason he called Henderson out for this rematch in which he lost at UFC 100 by knockout.Age is definitely a factor but he still has his powerful right hand.

I don't like this line up at all, main event aside. Don't think this event is going to get even 15% of PPV than last one or the one before that did.

Bisping vs Hendo is a close one, looking at statistics I'd say Hendo got this. But gut feeling is saying Bisping, but seeing that Bisping is the favorite then i won't even bother placing a bet. Idk about rest of the guys.

Ronda's match will be like CM Punk's debut. Huge pull, but don't expect much of it.

Although I see that Bisping is the favorite set by the bookies, I will not discount that it's a close fight vs Hendo.  Among some of the sports I've been betting on, the UFC is where the bookies get their analysis wrong most of the time.  Especially in the over/under x rounds.  Having said that, they do make a lot of money when it come to prop bets.  A lot of gambling degens just love betting those despite having the odds against them.

My bet is on Henderson in this fight @ 2.84 odds in nitrogensports. Remembering the last fight between them, Bisping could maybe have developed a fear for getting knocked out by him. So I do not think that Bisping will be aggressive on the outset. So a bet of over 2.5 rounds might also be profitable.
i dont think so Bisping will be having a fear of getting knocked out,Bisping was the one who wanted this fight in the first place,he was having any fear he would not campaign for a fight against Henderson after becoming the champ as there are several other fighters waiting for the opportunity ,before the Luke Rockhold fight no one expected Bisping to win as he was defeated easily by Rockhold in their first encounter.

I have not decided yet my bet for this fight but I should go with Dan Henderson as a safer bet, but im not sure yet. Im not even sure if im going to bet in this fight since im too tired to stay awake late to watch the fight, I want to go to bed earlier. Every fight night my sleeping schedule gets destroyed.

I think Bisping will probably win but I wouldn't be surprised if Dan Henderson took it. I don't really think either fighter is of the absolute highest calibre.

The gambling line on Bisping is insane! I get it he should be favored but
by that much?

I wanted to bet Bisping but at these prices I have to pass. I guess I will wait and
hope more people bet Henderson as the fight gets closer.

If Dan Henderson could connect his right hand then it will be lights out and he could be the champ, he has being a champion in every other organisation and may be this is his time now to hold the UFC belt before his retirement.Since Michael Bisping has a boxing centered fighting style the odds given to Dan Henderson tempts me to put my bet on Henderson, Vitor Belfort Vs Gegard Mousasi is another interesting fight,i dont know how conditioned Vitor will be but Mousasi is a tough fighter.

If Dan Henderson can be as versatile as other fighters like he can also win via submission thatbwould be great, most or majority of his wins are via knockout. We want to see more than boxing inside the octagon. Last he squared off with Bisping he is chasing Bisping with his hands cocked and ready to blow.

Fight Result

Michael Bisping @ 1.37
Dan Henderson @ 2.56

looks like Michael Bisping has more favored for these fight but there is still one month away and maybe next month odds will be change
Surprised? Well if you think about it Michael Bisping right now is in high spirits because he is a champ so if fight will push through then Bisping is not pumped up because being the champ changes your attitude towards the game. Fight will happen at Manchestee UK, last time Bisping had a fight in Manchester he won. The crowd motivates the fighter to push to his limits.

Brad "One Punch" Pickett Vs Luri "Marajo" Alcantara

this is going to be a good one!

I have been trying to get into TUF this season but can't. Maybe its all the
reading of subtitles? I dunno I just loved last season with the ladies running the
show. These coaches suck and I dont like the format this season.

Dan Henderson should win. Michael Bisping has a lot of experience and he is robust and thought guy, and has won top fighters like Anderson Silva, but Silva is out of his prime already. I think Dan Henderson is a tier above this guy as a fighter.

Thanks Directdice for the link
I cant believe that with almost 1 month more to go and Michael Bisping is showing as the early favorite with 1.37 odds and Dan Henderson with 2.56
I can only see Michael Bisping is good at the mic, taunts his possible opponent but in the cage its a different story. I still think that Silva won his last fight with Bisping.

Just saying that Michael Bisping are facing the greatest fighter of all times. When you look at Dan's accomplishments, weight divisions, tournaments,

he is hands down a GOAT So remember, Hendo has a hand that is 100% hospital/graveyard.

Hendo still has a solid chin for his age. The bombs that he took from Hector Lombard would ko most guys. I won't be surprised if Hendo wins, especially considering the fact that a lot of recent champions haven't been able to hold the belt for more than one fight.
