"I Messed Up" hahah come on TJ what a way to start the most important speech of your career

One of the comments on that video do really make me laugh.

Ross Viens

He's like, "Time to take a vacation and get surgeries " Oh and I'm sorry.

LOL!

hahah good one and its true!!

Tj looks so uncomfortable talking about this, that he doesn't know what to do.... It feels like he wants to get into a hole hahah and he avoids it by trying to talk about something else like surgeries.

Yeah, he looks like very uncomfortable in that video, lol. One thing I've noticed as well is that he seems to have aged a lot,  Grin.  At least he admit and never deny the he uses EPO, he said 2021? Nah, I think he is done for now after being busted.

It seems like T.J. Dillashaw career in UFC is over, after this two years suspended for using a banned substance, he is 33 years old now, so he would be 35 years in 2 years. I think that most fighters are using some kind of drugs when they were training, and then take a break before their matches where there are chances for a drug test.

Have to agree with this. His career has effectively ended. We don't know much details. I never had a very favorable opinion about USADA. They are very biased and the quantum of punishment always depends on the nationality and race of the athlete. Simone Biles was let off for using a banned drug and the USADA went to great lengths to justify it. They are a bunch of shameless people.

Yeah, it could really ended his career at this point. I'd say he is one of the crowd favourites because he is not cockier let's say compare to Cody, but if someone is caught cheating then if could really tarnish your reputation and it's hard to comeback from this.

But if ever he will comeback and fight, I think he is not the same fighter anymore.

Oh well, that's probably the reason why he can truly stay and has a high intensity and seems not to get tired by all the movements and feints we have seen in him in years. I'm sure that Cody is now ripping his heads off, now that he is caught as a 'cheater', Lol.
Cody Garbrandt was vocal about Dillashaw and his drug use and his entire camp from the beginning and Dillashaw was dismissive about that claim and he was caught using EPO which is used for recovery and that that cannot happen with a tainted supplement as he has to consume or inject that to get into his body and USADA usually does not test that all the time and that is how he slipped through this far and now news are coming out that he was clean during Cody fight, only time will tell what the truth is and whether those fights will be overturned to no contest.

They really cannot control themselves to try these prohibited drugs to level up their performance, the competition is really that high to take that risk but they will eventually get caught, but I'm sure he'll be back after a year for a more big fight like what happened to Jon Jones.
Jones is a different case, they found micro dosage of contents which can be in his system through tainted supplements, if someone is cheating those micro dosing could not make any difference and the level of content in his body is so small and that is the reason they allowed him to fight.

Yes, Cody has been calling for a stricter test when he fought TJ twice, but nothing positive surface. I think it's fair that USADA should go back and test TJ's urine sample on that two fights and see if TJ has been using it for quite some time now and at least turn that lost into "No Contest".

I don't think age matter here since DC is still a champion at the age of 40. Anyways, T.J is such a great athlete for me and its such a waste to see these kinds of athlete gets banned. I hope that after the ban he would be back to UFC again to regain his former glory.
What the heck do you mean? He had it coming since he was literally cheating at the end of the day and his popularity will go down the drain now just like so many athletes in the past.

I don't think he has any hope of winning back the title in the future.

What do you expect? Everyone is using steroids at one point or another in their career in the UFC so I'm not surprised by this. It will be just a matter of time before some big names will be caught. I'm not fan of TJ though, personally, I thought we has just faking everyone and trying to be the good guy here, but since he was caught, everything was not falling into places.

Once a few of them start taking performance enhancing drugs everyone else has to as well just to stay on a level playing field.  How would feel if you were the only one not taking these substances and having to compete.  I bet they have really high tech stuff out there that is going undetected as well.  We are seeing athletes have an extended prime into old age nowadays.

Wouldn’t surprise me if lots of athletes take performance enhancing drugs. It’s just important to try & know when the drug tests are &/or be able to use a good masking agent to stop the drigs showing up in a piss test.

not expecting it to Dillashaw though.  i would however to athletes who are much cockier.  i still can understand why some are doing it when they know they are facing danger inside the cage.  to have such courage you would have to be naturally high. he can be clean and come back just like jones did.

I'm not a ufc fan but I think Dillashaw's suspension is reasonable. We all know that some gamblers will do everything so that their bet would win. I just felt bad for him though there are already lots of fighters that have been suspended for years. I hope that they could compete fair.

I know UFC is being part of Gambling world but since obviously Dillashaw will not be part of any future gambling events related to UFC, I considered this as a non gambling related topic. His last fight was January 2019 on which he was lose and no upcoming fight to him up to this date. I don't know what's next for him.

Responses here will be purely all about views on the case and not with the gambling itself. I like to participate in the discussion but I don't see any other better section here aside from Off-Topic section.

Just my 2 cents.

I don't know if UFC fans around the community have heard this breaking news:

Quote
T.J. Dillashaw has accepted a two-year suspension from the United States Anti-Doping Agency after failing a test for a prohibited substance, the organization announced Tuesday.

This news comes two weeks after Dillashaw himself declared that the USADA had discovered an “adverse finding” and that he would be vacating the UFC bantamweight championship. ESPN was first to report the suspension.
