Good fight between Thompson and Rory although I expected more.  This fight was potentially Fight of the Year, but no, and that's ok.  I would prefer to have him fight Lawler for the championship than Rory.  It's a little too early for Lawler - Rory 3 imo.

It's also nice to see Cerrone win vs Cote.  Easy win for him...  He's back!

Im not betting on any of those guys since I don't know well them enough. I will save money for UFC 200. Im still deciding if I should go conservative with a Jon Bones Jones win or bet on the possibility of Daniel Cormier winning.

I think Thompson could outstrike Rory since he's a 57 - 0 kickboxer.  So I can see there some value in betting a Thompson win via 1st round KO, maybe starting at +450...?

But then again if it goes to the distance, there could be value on Rory winning via decision starting at +275.

What do you guys think?  At first impression in looking for value lines, that's what I would look for mostly in this fight.

Pretty much an even fight between Rory and Thompson.  Tiny edge could go to Thompson. But you can't go wrong either way.

Thompson hits hard too.  Check out this fight of him vs Whitaker.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzY-AGg5CLo&ebc=ANyPxKraTTtDdJP9CzHQgzvus7FrPgOuIIPONVTbIrr5ZjWc9jJgOADjhm8JO_vxJjz3H97NlZ7SLH2KNgAEyppZCa1IfjEd2g

Stephen Thompson has more impressive statics 12-1 so that i will support him for this fight with Rory MacDonald, i watched some shots of previous fights than it looking Stephen Thompson will win this fight in the end maybe this fight will get very close result.

Both players are looking promising and it is really hard to pick any one of them, as per statics there is no big difference between them but i think Rory has pretty good chance to make it more interesting, this fight will get very close result so far and odds are almost same for both players.

I also think Stephen Thompson has nice track record and looking more better player with wonderful technique although this fight would be full of fun because on other side Rory MacDonald also can give surprise result but for betting Stephen Thompson will be good option.

Thanks for this thread from my opinion both players  Rory MacDonald and Stephen Thompson are very talented and much hard to predict what is going to happen into this fight, i personally like Stephen Thompson because he is more tricky fighter and his playing is very impressive so that i think bet on Stephen Thompson @1.87 would be nice pick.

Despite that, a formal introduction of the division has not yet been made since promotion officials are still determining whether or not to permanently add the division.

- Norifumi Yamamoto was scheduled to face Chris Beal at the event. However, Yamamoto was pulled from the bout on May 26 due to an undisclosed injury. He was replaced by former Bellator Featherweight Champion and one time UFC Bantamweight Championship challenger Joe Soto.

- Alex Garcia was scheduled to face Colby Covington, but pulled out on June 9 due to undisclosed reasons. He was replaced by promotional newcomer Jonathan Meunier.
