Another loss for Cowboy. I reckon he will fulfill the rest of his contract in the UFC, then transfer to Bellator and then retire. He had an adequate career, but he is now only making a living from fighting, not doing a championship run.

I watched the highlights of the fight, he was really out gun at his favorite game, leg kicks. He still has it, but I think that MMA has really evolved so much that fighters are raising the bar. I thought that Cowboy has a good chance to win this fight, However, Edwards took him in 2 rounds and it was bloody for Cowboy. And I agree with @Hydrogen that the scorecards didn't reflect how Cowboy was really battered and its not even close.

I stayed up and watched almost the entire card. Its crazy how much athletes continue to improve and the overall skill level of MMA fighters continues to climb higher.

The scorecards for Donald Cerrone vs Leon Edwards say 48-47. Realistically I think 49-46 or 50-45 in Leon Edwards favor would have been more accurate. Edwards battered and beat Cowboy the entire fight whatever silly and inaccurate things commentators had to say about it.

Song Yadong, Shane Young, Petr Yan and Jake Matthews were the best prospects fighting on the card imo. Song Yadong was especially impressive.

Looking forward to Cormier vs Miocic. I guess the UFC wants Jon Jones vs Daniel Cormier 3 and so they have Cormier fighting up a weight class to ensure he holds the belt until Jon Jones returns.

I knew Jon Bones would come back for a third fight against Cormier. Dana White knows these 2 together are money making machines even if Jon Jones keeps fucking it up. I guess this is the last chance for Jones tho, if Jones screws up again in the drug tests then Dana is going to start looking incredibly stupid after saying how "Jon Jones is out of the UFC forever" again.

Oh well, really hope that Jones doesn't mess up again because he has totally ruined his career and maybe a third fight with DC will be like his return fight and claiming the throne back for all the Dana story-line. I wasn't able to watch the fight and I thought that Cerrone can pull this off but I guess that Leon Edwards is another prospect in the horizon.

As a casual fan I can only recognize Cobow Cerrone, OSP and Tyson Pedro, I have honestly no idea who the other guys are so I will be abstaining from gambling on this one. My number one rule is if you dont know the fighters don't even get involved.

I can't wait for UFC 226, Stipe vs DC will be a war. Also UFC 227 with TJ Dillashaw and Cody 2 will be big. I will for sure bet on these.

The start time for this event is around 12 hours earlier than normal time. It starts around 22 hours after the timestamp on this post--If I got the time correct.

Not a lot of notes~

-Jake Matthews could be a new man after having his recent surgeries. He's had a lot of injuries and health problems which were preventing him from fighting @ full potential. This is something I haven't 100% kept up (gamblers should do their own research and not trust me on this). It could be a real thing.

-Naoki Inoue is the brother of Mizuki Inoue(female Invicta fighter).

-Ulka Sasaki looks to be training @ Matt Serra / Ray Longo's gym in NY.

-Jenel Lausa and Rolando Dy don't update their social media enough for me to guess who or where they're training @.

-Jessica Rose Clark has shown improvement since moving to train in Las Vegas with Syndicate. I think she made the move around 2 fights ago. Be interesting to see what progress she's made if any.

-Jessica Eye is moving down to the 125 weight division from 135. It looks like she's working on her wrestling/grappling expecting to have a size or weight advantage in the lower weight class. Whether or not such an advantage will materialize is anyone's guess.

-Looking at history, I think Donald Cerrone hasn't really finished an opponent with a punch since 2012 when he fought Melvin Guillard. Cerrone wobbling Yancy Medeiros with a punch could show his hands and his boxing are improving.

...

Which fights are people interested in? I can try to comment on those.

No wonder I see two Filipino fighters Jenel Kausa and Rolando Dy, the fight will be held at Singapore Indoor Stadium. I thought I am looking at a fight card assembled by Once FC. I hoe those two Pinoy fighters make it, its been quite sometime when I last see a Filipino fighter in UFC like Brandon Vera and Mark Munoz. Looking at the fight card is not really that stacked that might draw a huge crowd but I hope Cowboy Cerrone keeps his momentum after winning a fight with Yancy Medeiros via TKO in Round 1.

I think Brad Tavares is part filipino. Only one I can think of.

I agree. The card is not that stacked and I'm only familiar with Cowboy and OSP here. I guess for Filipino fighters, much better to break the Asian market first like in One FC before gaining grounds in UFC, just saying. I have to pick Cowboy and OSP here, they got so much experience, which I think will be a big factor in this fight.
