It was an expected but the fight was great, I like heavy fighting and both warriors showed skills.Cowboy of course has another level of preparation and ended the game early.I would love to see a fight of Cowboy against McGregor as McGregor always plays the clown although he gets beaten almost always.

Ever since McGregor got a big payout from battling Mayweather he is not on top of his game anymore, it feels like he is all about the money now. The fight that he had against Khabib was just a pure joke in my opinion. If Cowboy and McGregor would fight the I think this will test McGregor if he is still on top of his game.

It will be a good test for McGregor and Cerrone has nothing to lost here. So it will be very entertaining for the most part until McGregor hit Cerrone with his left and the game is over. At least that's how I see the fight when this two faces each other in the octagon.

Big congrads to "Cowboy' on the one sided decisive victory.  I couldnt have been the only person watching thinking the match should have been stopped early.
.. snip..

Iaquinta was a game fighter. Although he was hit and was brutally beaten, there are moments wherein he was getting the better of the exchange and that is why the fight wasn't stop.

Good thing though that the referee didn't do it, Cerrone is still on top of his game. How about Cerrone vs McGregor next? Since he had called Conor?
If this happens, Conor McGregor has the reach and age advantage, Cowboy Cerrone have height advantage. One good thing about Cerrone is that he is also good in submission. Most of his wins are coming from submission. I don't think Dana White will approve if Cerrone vs McGregor will happen.

It was one of the best fights of Donald Cerrone but a bloody fight for Laquinta. Cerrone dropped Laquinta for a couple of times before he ended the fight on the fifth round. That wasn't too surprising since Cowboy really have a good preparation for this fight.

Well deserved win for Cerrone who touched Iaquinta many times and could have ended the fight before the decision.
Good to see him back in title contention.

Very interesting as no one has talked about this fight. Cerrone win the fight against Iaquinta but it was a back and forth battle but eventually he batters Al and win a UD. Cerrone even pull up a "Anderson Silva" front kick that floored Iaquinta but the dude is tough survived that round.
