Sky oh how I liked to hate them I have had so many problems with them in the passed I'm staying away from them.

TalkTalk did a lot of research on and since they merged with orange and made EE the company seems to be a lot better now EE that is.

o2 broadband Voted worst in the country a few years ago they never recovered from that and they still have not.

Plusnet well they have very poor technical support and are just all round really bad the prices are really jacked up high for a service that is less than good.

I'm with virgin now they are really bad and I'm hopefully going to be switching to something better.

BT well little second about these bastards half your internet upload and download goes to their stupid BT cloud trash and even if you ask not to use it then your little hub is still forced to have it cloud enabled.

By the looks of it for me its either EE or internet and vpn. Not the best of choices but I will see if I can pay for it with bitcoins to cash Tongue

UK ISP's that do not manage bandwidth or hammer your connection.

Sky,,,, You do not need their TV services to get their broadband cost without their TV package is £10 for DSL for Fiber you would need phone services with them and that's £20 per month and for their unlimited pro fiber that's £30 to £40 a month then £14.50 on top for line rental.

TalkTalk if you really want to use their services. I have used in the past and will never use again....

You cloud use orange but now that has been merged with t-mobile and now is EE so I do not know what theri services are like.

o2 their not bad but expensive if not having o2 phone with them.

Plusnet if you can afford their services and in area and provide a good package.
on a down side I moved from them due to having crappy tech support and not advising me their unlimited package had fair use on it of 100GB a month cap and they told me they didn't have one next month come I got a over price and over use bill took them to ofcom and got out me contact without having to pay them a dime.

My advise for ones not to go with

BT
Virgin

Virgin hammer your connection and have traffic management.
BT have same sort of things but claim they don't on their fiber services and have heard many complaints of people using and still getting throttled

My current provider is BETHERE I have been with them for around 4 years and now for my luck are been bought out by SKY so my services will be moving to them but I will give Sky a 2nd chance and see how things go with them. Last time I used their services I didn't get a good enough connection bu now they have fiber and also upgrades willing to give them another go as my services are been switched to them..

old provider use to enjoy but saldy gone is UKonline

for a good european VPN try IPREDator from the pirate buy guys, takes BTC, very privacy friendly and torrent friendly, I use talktalk in the UK and have no problems with throttling when I use my VPN, I have never tried to download without my VPN so I cant say what their response would be in that situation. I am yet to try my vpn with mining though but you can get a 3 month subscription for 15 euro so its not that expensive if it doesnt work out.

The torrentfreak article is a guide, not a bible. Of course, you can use whoever you want - but you did ask for suggestions.

Why use a US domain when you're not in the US? Higher ping/latency? Yes, they have servers in other countries, but if the good'ol US gestapo seize one they seize them all. Why take the risk? Ask Kim.com, demonoid,  etc, etc. Just trying to help.

Peace.

http://www.prq.se/?p=tunnel&intl=1  are who I used to use, run by a famous dude who don't give a toss. Hates paypal & loves btc.

Never use a .com company, they bend over for the FEDS, Homeland, CIA, Mafiaa  etc etc.

Also, some helpful links:

all that means is that the domain can be taken down.

.com is just a domain that is hosted in the US but if it is a good VPN service they will not log anything and just flip off all that.

Also that exact list you gave me has https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/ on it XD

Anyone got a better VPN that takes bitcoins this one seems (http://www.mullvad.net/) to be getting more and more iffy everyday.
Try https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/  I don't use it but I've heard good things from several people.

I had the same problems, BT were an expensive waste of space, Orange were a cheaper waste of space - but I'm now with TalkTalk who are the cheapest of all and I've not noticed any throttling on my connection so no longer need a vpn either. Who are you using?

I will have to give talktalk a try to see what they are like.

I'm using this VPN currently www.mullvad.net

my isp keeps on throttling my internet connection since it is counted as p2p.

Does this help?

I tried tor and the connections in the uk are not the greatest.

I'm using a VPN that I do not trust I need to find a better one that is more uk/euro based.

Plus with VPN it really annoys my ISP.

Ok so I'm newish to mining but the main problem is my isp keeps on throttling my internet connection since it is counted as p2p.

Does anyone know a company in united kingdom that allows p2p/bitcoin mining?

I'm going to get really serious about mining to a few rigs and soon as I can afford it I will get a few ASIC rigs to so it will have a lot of up and down.
what sucks is no fibre so i'm stuck with low speeds and throttling till I find one that does not eat idiot bricks for breakfest.

Anyway anyone that can help me and me not be complete robbed blind a small amount of nice and tasty bitcoins will be given Smiley
