On Tuesday the HM Land Registry announced that it is starting with the second phase of its ongoing blockchain research work. The announcement says that the agency is collaborating with blockchain company R3. The plan is to develop a platform which can store land registration information and streamline the process for buying and selling of properties. The new project will be built on R3’s Corda framework.

While speaking about the collaboration between governments and companies, recently Australian Government also partnered with IBM to create national blockchain. The Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) also published a report regarding the new initiative. The platform is called the Australian National Blockchain (ANB).
