Ukrainians are the poorest in Europe

not even close to the truth

GDP per capita in Ukraine is 8.404$

In Bosnia&Herzegovina it's 6,035$ , in Albania 5,405$, in Serbia 5,348$...

I don't get what's the purpose of this tread but one thing is sure:
The solar park you're talking about is no longer in Ukraine but in Russia Wink.

Also what are those "bursts" ?

Austrian company Active Solar
in the south of the Odessa region
construction and commissioning
the first phase capacity of 21.5 MW
solar power "Danube"
completed.

Completion of the second stage
43.14 megawatt solar power plant "Danube"
in late October
expected

Implementation of the project has already helped create more than 500 jobs for local residents.

This - the second large-scale project, implemented Activ Solar in 2012

The first - "Solar Park Perov," with its five bursts at the moment
is the largest operating photovoltaic power plant in the world.
peak power = 100 MW
To do this, it was found 440,000 terrestrial photovoltaic modules on the territory of more than 200 hectares.
Job park "Perov," according to Activ Solar, will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 105,000 tons per year.
investment in solar park "Perov" amounted to 3.8 billion hryvnia.
"Perov" and other solar power company engineers designed the Ukrainian.
used domestic technologies, materials, components and equipment.
Service solar power and Ukrainian specialists

in 2011
7.5-megawatt power plant "Rodnikovoye"
80-megawatt park "Okhotnikovo"
Park "Mitiaeva" capacity of 31.55 MW
they are all located in the Crimea.

Johann Harter - Executive Director of Activ Solar

Offices developer, whose headquarters is located in Vienna (Austria)
currently working in Kiev, Odessa and Simferopol (office opened in autumn 2011).
company Activ Solar has attracted more than 12.6 billion griveninvestitsy in Ukrainian projects
of which more than 8.1 billion hryvnia - in the construction of solar power plants in Crimea
and more than 4.5 billion hryvnia - a radical reconstruction of JSC "Plant of Semiconductors" (Zaporozhye)
thus became one of the largest investors in the Ukrainian economy.
such investment was provided at their own expense,
project financing and loans mainly foreign banks.

reconstructed JSC "Plant of Semiconductors"
which has now become the world's best producer of polysilicon quality
- A basic raw material for solar energy and semiconductor industries.
This allowed Ukraine to become the third country in Europe after Germany and Norway,
which has its own polysilicon production of such quality.
This is one of the largest investment projects in Ukraine last decade.
In the modernization of the plant has already invested more than 4.5 billion hryvnia.
Total investment in this project will exceed 10 billion hryvnia.

"Plant semiconductor" was created in January 2002
selected on the basis of the enterprise "Zaporozhye Titanium-Magnesium Works' production of semiconductor silicon.

Stages of development of the silicon semiconductor manufacturing in Zaporozhye:
- 1959 - commissioning of the experimental plot for obtaining semiconductor silicon;
- 1964 - commissioning of a full-scale production of semiconductor silicon on imported raw materials - tetrahlorsilane (silicon tetrachloride);
- 1967 - Commissioning of experimental-industrial plant for production of trichlorosilane, providing polysilicon feedstock own production.

Since the mid 90s, with the collapse of the USSR, CIS and Ukraine, semiconductor silicon was not popular
and in 1998 the production of semiconductor silicon Checkpoint "Zaporozhye Titanium-Magnesium Plant" was discontinued completely.

Company revival began with July 2007
Getting the first batch:
- Trichlorosilane - Q1 2010
- Polysilicon - 2nd quarter 2010
- Monocrystalline silicon (from own raw materials) - 2nd quarter 2010
