Only to be sure:
We're talking about this collection, right? https://metahistory.gallery/warline

I am a little concerned that so little hype is created around this excellent idea... not only is it a good thing to brag about (as it is the purpose of most NFTs, but with a humanitarian part), it also supports the ukrainians in this mess of a war. Why isn't the world cheering for this to start tomorrow?

What am I missing here? Why is someone paying more than 6 million Dollars for the ukrainian flag as an NFT but no one cares about a piece created by threatened ukrainian artists issued by the official government?

then I will not surprised if they will launch Metaverse.
It's possible, but isn't it when a country is at war not all of its officials will join the war, there will be those who continue to work according to what is their duty. It could be that they are thinking about how to survive and rebuild their country after the Russian invasion stopped, a lot of money is needed to rebuild an economically and infrastructurally devastated country.

I mean the invasion on Ukraine is still continue right now isn't? Why they're taking advantages of this invasion to generate more money while their country is still in trouble, they need to find a way to protect their region and citizens first. The money they got from donations already enough for their expenditures and expenses, after planning to launch NFT then I will not surprised if they will launch Metaverse.

Though it helped, I'm pretty sure the ±$15 million they've received is barely something lol. We're talking about an underdog country literally defending themselves for their lives here, and against Russia — a powerhouse country.

Yeah, I was so seriously anti-NFT before the war, but now when my country used it to get the much needed funding, I'm going to soften my stance, lol. I still think it's just a fad that will disappear or become marginalized, but I can no longer say that it has no practical uses. If these donations will help save lives, it will offset some of the harm caused by NFT scammers and money launderers.

Yep, and what can we do anyway? If people like NFTs and as long as the NFT project doesn't make claims such as "you're going to get rich!" or something similar, is there anything really wrong with it?

I don't take loans, ask for sig if I ever do.
Still rather against the idea of NFTs, though that might just be because of how the hype originally killed the idea of what an NFT could be. Still, I reckon I can accept these kinds of NFTs, they are a historical kind of NFT after all, plus if it helps them, even if I hate it, I'd still push for the idea since it is a big help for the country itself. Whether it's for remembrance or funds really, both reasons are good enough imo for people to accept them starting this kind of project. Hoping for the best for them.

Ukraine needs to push hard, only then it can develop all the infrastructure and the destruction that have taken place out of the war. It needs more and more funding as well as it needs perfect planning to achieve things in short time period. As a part of fund generation what the Ukraine government have taken initiative is really nice. People will surely consider buying the NFT. It is into controversy, what's the need of launching NFT when the country is facing the war. People who are against this will realise the value in the long run.

whoever manages to buy that NFT will become a hero for ukraine and even his name is recorded in the history of ukraine and crypto, good luck to anyone who wants to bid that NFT.
Don't be too much, friend. Help Ukraine may be a good act, but expecting to be recorded on the Ukraine history or even crypto, is clearly too exaggerating. Everyone who donates their funds to Ukraine is for humanitarian purposes, not for a political purpose. Sure, all the donators are the hero for Ukrainian people, their helps are very meaningful.

Most probably the main reason here is to raise funds and of course, to get the help of many people so they can defend their country from the invader. However, investor should be more careful on dealing with Ukrainians project because this can be a scam and many people pretend to be a victim here, I hate to say but this is like making money out of war, NFT is fine but the idea of investing and earning money because of war is not ok for me, I’d rather donate it directly.
Their government should have a clear statement with regards to this one, so those scammers wont have a chance to scam people. I see their real intentions here, and even without NFTs this is already part of the history that Ukrainian people and the world wont ever forget. Russia is already on a bad side here, people throw hate at them and if these NFTs are more affordable which I could invest and help people there, then I will participate and do my best to have at least one.

Whatever anyone's opinion is with NFTs, it surely is a really effective way of getting funding lol; and Ukraine definitely needed the funding. Couldn't really blame them for this move despite it being really controversial.
The main thing sets on my mind too on which it is obviously that they are just making use of NFT idea for them to get more funding. It is just been masked out to be some sort of remembrance of this
invasion thing but thats not my impression about this thing  though but i dont see anything wrong if their intent was pretty obvious.

It isnt really bad though if you do get involved with but you do know on what is their motive on the first place.Buying NFT would just basically be showing off some support.
I dont believe much though but its true that it wont really be that bad but there are already projects who had been ethically doing this
for UK.

after successfully getting donations of hundreds of btc and thousands of ethereum, Ukraine continued its steps with NFT.. quite good

The war between the two countries still does not appear to be ending, Ukraine continues to ask for help from the outside world to help them in terms of funding. whoever manages to buy that NFT will become a hero for ukraine and even his name is recorded in the history of ukraine and crypto, good luck to anyone who wants to bid that NFT.

Oh my God, this is crazy news I am seeing here. What on the earth are they doing here to get the donations. I know I know this is for something good but how they might have planned for this in the shit ton of armour and weapons and bombs all around them? Lolz I find it very funny man. There is definitely poker face on the Russia right now as to what they seeing and hearing about the Ukrainian. They might be reacting like what? Really? NFT from Ukraine to remember the war that is just crazy.

I gotta say Ukraine is taking full fledge advantage of the crypto space and getting money any where possible.

However, heads up to those who gonna bid on this; please make sure you do it from the legit sources only.

It's getting worse and worse. I know they are in a state of need for donations. But up to four dealing with NFTs, the story is already different. I don't know what's behind all this I really don't want to know and don't really pay much attention to it. Taking the time to create an NFT, while humanity is far more important to save than this. in my opinion, but maybe not for others. I just hope that the people don't experience deep suffering, and in terms of making NFTs, is there still a lack of donations of how many cryptos are so large that they are still running today?

https://coingape.com/ukraine-to-create-nft-museum-to-symbolize-russias-invasion-of-the-country/?utm_source=thecryptoapp

Ukraine is set to create a monument of remembrance as it is committed to launch a Non Fungible Token (NFT) "Museum" in other to make history on how Russia launch an invading attack on their beloved country "Ukraine" using the NFT as a symbol of remembrance, This was a statement made by Deputy Minister of Digital transformation in Ukraine.

Quote
According to Alex, each NFT will be gotten from reports made by trusted news outlets concerning the war. These NFTs will contain unique pieces of art from those selected stories, obtained from “trusted sources”.

This come as a result of various opinions obtained during a congress meeting in appreciation to numerous donations worth about $100 million received from across the world on the official crypto wallet address of Ukraine. personally it also excites me seeing this and how they come about arriving on creating NFT from the start of airdrops.
