I get that they were just doing this "airdrop" to try and get everyone in crypto-space to donate but it feels kinda weird to me.
But hey, as long as this helps them to gather more donations, why not. Although I think it would be cool to have an NFT that shows you supported Ukraine in their times of need kinda like a badge. I wonder which chain they would do the airdrop though?
I live in Ukraine, but have not yet heard of donations in cryptocurrency. I am more interested in the situation on the fronts and military reports.
Ukraine has always had a positive attitude towards cryptocurrency, so it is quite possible that it is also used for donations.
In Ukraine, the digitized hryvnia is being launched on the ethereum chain, so I believe that this airdrop will also be on the same chain.
Ukrainians are now successfully resisting the invasion of 120,000 Russian troops. The enemy has not yet captured a single regional center out of 24. The Russians, in anger, are shelling residential areas, deliberately killing women and children. This causes complete unity and an even tougher rebuff to the aggressor.

So do you mean to say that these donation requests are fake and not initiated the your government? Is it possible for you to get a confirmation to the community members? Otherwise the money will go to a scamster and no real help will reach to the people of Ukraine. try to get a confirmation please!

What is happening in your country, is completely unacceptable in 21st century. Such kind of invasion used to happen during middle age and it's a heinous act by Russian military and most prominently, Putin. There is something called Karma and it will be served at the right time.

I won't be surprised, if it's later reviewed that the twitter page was hacked and the address that people are donating to is not for that purpose. I recall when top personalities had their twitter accounts hacked few years ago and huge sums was transferred by users with the hope of getting 100% return. We all need to be mindful of such possibilities.

I personally find the issue of giving airdrops for donations quite suspicious. There's no doubt that Ukraine needs our donations and support but giving rewards for donations is kinda dicey and should be looked into. I'm yet to find the exact post for the airdrops, but if it's true then we need to be careful about everything.

How many eth or Btc in USD would it take to get the airdrop? Does it have a minimum amount to be in the list? And what if it is not by any chance the Russians, how can we be so sure that the account were not hacked, this could lead to worst if it was breached. I mean we could be funding the invaders right? Anyway I will maybe donate but just a few, hope it does really goes to Ukrainian people.
I followed the link of the tweet to see further details about the drop but I can't find anything. It could be that they keep it a secret because people can abuse it. Better if we don't think about the reward because the point here is about donating. If we want to expect a reward in exchange from what we give then we can just join airdrops on exchanges, there are lots of them.

The post about the donation was confirmed already by Vitalik and CZ, that it was legit. Don't tell me that those accounts are also hacked only to say it? I guess not and if there are hacks ongoing, there will be a warning everywhere. You can donate a few though if you're unsure.

I think this is legit. Even without the airdrop I think a lot of people would still contribute to Ukraine as it really needed as much funds to support them versus Russia which has considerable resources to supress them. I think everyone around the globe who are into crypto are gonna send amounts to this cause. Well the airdrop seems to be bonuses and hope Russia could see this way to stop all thr aggression they are doing.

I don't know if this has been confirmed yet from an official source of the ukrainian government and i doubt they have the time to donate such a minor issue at the moment but this still feels weird to me. I mean i understand they probably need every single dollar that they can get but to offer that airdrop now feels kind of weird to me to be honest. I think people that can afford to donate something and that want to donate something should do that to help the people in need and not to get something in return. I can imagine that now a lot of people are spending like 1 USDT or something like that just in order to get the NFT to resell it for more.

There must be more verification to this event whether this was already created by a trusted party or not. I do know that when they are doing it as an exchange for the donation that already donated to the Ukraine and this sounds good but there must be someone or at least a trusted party that wants to verify whether this airdrop can be trusted or not. If this is a real airdrop and it can be awarded to the donators. Im glad to see that if this is a real airdrop and im thinking if those donators will be very glad too. As i said that at least we need a reliable announcement.

Wow, this is new! once again this is the use of blockchain and cryptocurrencies for mankind, truly a world without limits if we enter in blockchain mate!
By the way what Ukraine did inadvertently will have a positive impact starting from this news spread, hopefully their war will end soon and we can rise together in a better situation. Don't give up Ukraine!

Looks like it's not NFT that will be distributed to the Ukrainian community.
I don't see on twitter they share about NFT. They really want to share airdrops in the form of
at least a cryptocurrency that can be exchanged for cash immediately.
Apart from the Ukrainian government, FTX also distributed free $25 to its exchange users for Ukrainian citizens with an amount of more than $1 million.
It's written in the article Bezinga

I am not so sure that they are doing this to get everyone in the crypto space to donate besides even with the announcement of the airdrop, I don't think people will donate just because of that besides, people have been donating before the airdrop announcement.
I believe while some people are also doubting if this is genuine or not, there should be some form or someone in charge of that media to clarify that too however I believe they want to appreciate the donation if it turns out genuine.

I have been donating a few bucks but I didn't know yet if there will be an airdrop for the donation that will be made. This NFT seems to be a valuable NFT during this conflict but I will not expect something big from this airdrop. I do believe this airdrop worth to be used as my collection and i may only keep this in my wallet forever.  Cheesy
I'm glad to see this news come for us. At least we will get a rare collectible for our wallet.
