I do not trust the Russian government. They change their mind about Bitcoin every other week. I would hate being a merchant in Russia with
Has this anything to do with the Russian Government ? The company is Private Limited,Government doesn't control what they use as their payment methods or maybe in mother Russia they do!
It's much related to Russian Government. Their attitude to bitcoin is unpredictable. Once there was news that Russia want to ban bitcoin, next time they wanted to regulate bitcoin and etc. And these things can have big influence to business which are using bitcoins. Merchants who accepts bitcoin in Russia always may be in fears that they government can change their opinion about bitcoin again.

the way they are handling this whole Crypto Currency issue. You cannot build a business on uncertainty and when you add a payment option like
Bitcoin, then you need to invest time and money into training staff and configuring your point of sales systems.  Huh
Really ? Bitcoin is the only form of payment that gets up and running with in hours. You don't need permissions or fancy bank accounts.Training staff is not needed, everything could be automated.

I was out 2 nights ago shopping and even with a bank credit card it some times takes a few seconds more when the cashier uses the POS machine and I was frustrated.
I'm not gonna wait 1 hour to buy a pack of cigar and some beverages. I believe we're too close to the blockchain, we as normal users shouldn't go through all the troubles to deal with miners and confirmation time, we must find a solution so we can safely use another layer for micro transactions and 3 seconds confirmations.
Remember banks take your already earned money and they just process your transactions, Bitcoin  doesn't have to be and act as our payment processor, please write a code to implement it as a new layer just to process our transactions so we can comfortably use Bitcoin and start discarding fiat from our lives.
The entire world starts accepting Bitcoin as a currency and start using blockchain will only make every thing worse as more transactions equals more backlog and more network traffic.

ah, finally some real action from Russia.
these days it seems like each time i open bitcointalk or reddit and read some news is see another country doing something new about bitcoin. it is a good feeling to see real bitcoin adoption as a currency rather than just reading about price and how more people are investing in it!

It's a great news. I am a great fan of online shopping because we get the tremendous amount of choices from around the nation (and in some case from all over the world) so enabling bitcoin on an e-commerce website is really a good move in order to make it global in a real sense. Implementing easy to use invoicing system like bitpay would surely boost the overall volume of such sites.

We are getting there gradually. It seems the silence of most governments will actually create a window to exploit and gradually the penetration will happen by the time they wake up from the business of politciking and world politics there wont be going back on how far bitcoin has gone and the result of that will be they wont have any other option than to just fall in line and give the required support to ensure it gets to the masses of the population.
