You guys should check the profile options before asking questions again like this because what has been asked has been solved one way or another.

Don't use ""Show new replies to your posts" if you don't want to see "replies to your posts".

Instead, use "Watchlist" if you want to keep track of some threads and not others (you know, like with a watchlist?).

Problem solved.

not in the watch list but it will still be in the "Show new replies to your posts" section. thats what i need to stop.

Wow, thats something I never use Wink

So much old threads there... well I dont think you can change that.

I find that most people use the "Show new replies to your posts" feature to track threads. You can clear that as well if you want, but the most active ones stay at the top anyway.

Really? no easier way? that means trawlling 100s of pages of [ANN] posts to find mine. some have dropped off the recient posts list in my profile.

Thanks for the fast reply though.

Top right over the OP is an "unwatch" link, click it.
Wow. how did i not see that!!

Thanks

I'm not actually sure if that unwatch feature works, especially if you've got posts in the thread.

Works for me, not sure why it wouldnt for everyone else.

I removed this thread and I'm still getting updates from it.

hmm strange, ill unwatch after this post and see if I get an update. Maybe its a bug?

i only just found this out myself. In the Watchlist page, Click on "Edit Watchlist" on top left, then select any topics you want to unwatch and click "Removed Checked"

Hi,

Is there a way to "unwatch" topics you have posted in?

Im getting tired of all the replys to threads i commented on ages ago.

ive deleated them fron the watchlist but they keep on comming in the "replies to your posts" area.

Rgds
